“Lodges were very clean and cosy. Staff were attentive and hot tub was great. There are good restaurants and attractions within 5 - 15 mins drive away. We enjoyed our stay, would say a weekend or 2-3 night stay is ideal.”

“Fantastic trip to The Weir lodge at Whitekirk Hill! The site facilities are excellent for families and the staff were most welcoming. This was our first trip here, but it certainly will not be our last. Myself, my partner and 2 year old son spent the weekend here and had a great time. Plenty to do for all and the facilities are all emasculate!”

“Without hyperbole, our stay here was like walking into a dream. The property is elegant in every detail and yet completely integrated with the setting. The weather was variable during our stay (it IS Scotland), and we found we could relax in our room and watch the moods pass over the loch, from sunshine and bright color to an almost frosty-seeming monochrome. “We had such a great wee break at jasper Lodge, we already can't wait to book again, everything was fab and the owner was so lovely met us there when we arrived and even brought us milk incase the snow was to bad to go back out. Everything was spot on and we can't wait to come back”

“This is a beautiful property, with lovely comfortable rooms. Elmira is a gracious and thoughtful host. We had to leave early for a tour, before the breakfast hours, and she made sure we had plenty to eat before we left. I couldn't give 5 stars for area around the property, as there was construction happening in the backyard, but it's not a criticism. We enjoyed our stay very much!”

“Amazing little property,communication fantastic! I stayed here the night prior to my wedding. On arrival,i was welcomed with a lovey card wishing me well for my wedding day and a lovely box of chocolates. The room which is open planned had a double bed which was very comfortable. The shower was fab and powerful. And shampoo and body wash was provided. We were surprised to see all the highland cows in the morning, which was lovely..over all i would definately return . ”

“De lodge was schoon, netjes en alles wat je nodig hebt voor een fijne vakantie is aanwezig. De omgeving is wat saai maar als je op pad gaat is het een prima uitvalsbasis. Het enige grote minpunt waren de eenpersoonsbedden. De matrassen zijn/waren echt te slecht om behoorlijk op te kunnen slapen. Die van het 2 persoonsbed is prime. Het contact met de eigenaar was heel goed en hij heeft de feedback ter harte genomen en zou er naar gaan kijken. ”
