The hotel was very nice. The staff were wonderful and the breakfasts were very tasty. My only complaint was the bed. It was so lumpy and sunken in the middle that we had to take off the mattress topper off to make it possible to sleep and even then it wasn’t great.

A beautiful little 9room inn. Located on Loch Ness. Our room looked onto the loch. Very quiet and conveniently located by the boat tour dock. Included breakfast was wonderful as well. Thanks to Csaba for his attention to detail and for suggestions in the area. Highly recommend.

We stayed one night at Loch Ness Lodge on the way from Skye to Royal Deeside, two days after getting engaged, and it was exactly the right place to land. Gabriel and the team had been in touch well before we arrived - clear directions, dinner sorted for us next door at The Clansman, and when we walked into our room there was red wine, chocolates and berries waiting with a note. It's a small lodge and it feels like one: quiet, personal, and looked after by people who plainly care about it. The room faced straight down Loch Ness. Waking up to that view with a cup of coffee is the reason you come here. Breakfast the next morning was cooked to order and unhurried, which set us up for Urquhart Castle ten minutes down the road. One practical note for EV drivers: there's no charger on site, so arrive with what you need or top up at Drumnadrochit; the lodge is upfront about this when you ask. Also, the entrance is a sharp turn just before The Clansman if you're coming from the south - worth knowing in the evening light. Warm, beautifully placed, and run with real attention. We'd come back without hesitation.

What a warm welcome at a beautiful hotel! The manager made me a fire & brought me a glass of champagne upon arrival. Dinner reservations were taken care of & I only wish we had been there longer. Attention to detail is so apparent. And the gardens are stunning!

The best thing about this place is their staff. Mr Choba, the manager was extremely helpful from the very start and helped us to locate the property because the GPS directions were not helpful, and subsequently, during check in and after. Our room was facing the Loch ness so the view was serene. The staff serving us breakfast were superb and the ladies must be congratulated for their wonderful manners and professionalism. The breakfast was superb with even vegan croissant available for my wife, which we rarely see in bigger chain hotels. The only downside, which we did not realise when booking, was that the rooms, although nice and cosy, are really small and so is the double bed. The bathroom sink is very old fashioned with separate hot and cold water taps with no way to mix.

This hotel is more than a hotel, it’s a home away from home. The staff have made it as cosy and welcoming as they possibly can. You can sit by the fire with a glass of wine, chatting to other guests, looking out on to Loch Ness and then retire to beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean bedrooms. It’s peaceful, charming & luxurious.

We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay. We were delighted to receive a room upgrade, and the hotel staff looked after us extremely well throughout our visit. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the nearby town, enjoy some shopping, and even take a quick swim in Loch Ness. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and high-quality food. There was also a lovely restaurant nearby for dinner, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to extend our stay by an extra night. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful location we didn’t expect we could find such a nice place near Loch Ness but it’s a wonderful gem tucked away and taken care by a great professional- general manager he goes beyond and above to accommodate guests. Very much recommended
