Hotel pour touristes locaux

Hotel vraiment adapté pour des touristes locaux et non pour européens. Le personnel ne parle pas anglais. Pas de manager sur place, les employés font de leur mieux mais dans leurs limites. Chambre confortable et bonne literie, mais la propreté n’est toujours là. La piscine n’est pas très propre. Manque d’entretien en général de cet hôtel. Le petit dejeuner est compliqué et sommaire (pas de sucré). Le restaurant ne propose quelques plats locaux mais la plupart d’entre eux ne sont pas disponibles. Pas de baguettes pour les plats thaïs! Loin de tout, il faut 30 minutes pour aller à la première ville ou supermarché en scooter. Les taxis ne se rendre pas facilement de ce côté de l’ile et coutent cher pour un trajet (entre 800 et 1000 baths.) Parfait pour des locaux mais hotel à éviter.

Fint og charmerende hotel. Vi var her i højsæsonen og var nærmest de eneste. Hvis man vil have fred og ro, er dette det rigtige sted. Maden på stedet er dog ikke særlig god. Morgenmaden er tæt på at være forfærdelig. Der er to muligheder at vælge imellem, og det er altså ikke særlig inspirerende. Der er intet i nærheden du kan gå til, så du bliver nødt til at leje en scooter, og køre til alt. Vi kørte 150 km på 2 dage, og vi var kun på østsiden. Manageren var dog sød at hente os ved færgen, samt køre os hen til scooterudlejningen og sætte os af ved færgen igen, hvor vi så tog en taxi til White Sand hvor der er mere liv.

not a class hotel as advertised

Booked this "luxurious, best hotel on the island" for 10 nights and lasted one. The airconditioner was blowing mouldy smelling damp air, informed reception 20 mins after checking in, asked for a candle or something to remove smell while we aired it out. Staff couldnt care less, no candles, I checked the roof where the airconditioners were located and completely covered with mould over everything including resort walls. The advertised wifi didnt work properly, the advertised cable tv wasnt working at all, the shuttle bus didnt actually belong to the hotel, it just randomly drove past. We were sent from the coffee shop to the resturant who sent us back to the coffee shop when we tried to purchase a drink to celebrate our holiday, there was an open bar completely unmanned ast the same time, we attended the resturant for the evening meal, drab and dirty, 6 items of seafood on the menu , of which 4 were unavailable, what food we recieved was excellent. The list wine list was also unavailable apart from the most expensive. we were the only customers in the resturant, i asked for a glass and they had to clean one. I have some experience with cooling towers and i believed this to be a completely unacceptable health risk. in regards to the air condtioning. Other side of the island is the only place to be. We recieved no refund, and no help no support from the the booking agents, this is a run down hotel where the staff are just going through the motions, It wont be open much longer

Horrible. left in 1 hour

Wanted to try 1 nite on the other side of the island. This place had good reviews and was the most expensive per nite so figured it was good. Problems: No wifi working. Had not been working for a long time. Bad smell in rooms. Mold and peeling paint in hallways also with bad smell.. Stained, dirty, wet moldy smelling sheets and towels. Poor AC with bad smell. Hard Bed. We left after 1 hour.

Great resort away from the party scene

This is a nice resort with very helpful staff. The view is incredible. If you want to party, maybe this is not the side of the island for you, but it's great to relax. 5 star service all the way.

super tipp...

es war traumhaft.... der strand ist zwar aufgrund der lage nicht zum schwimmen nutzbar aber der pool ist zauberhaft.... wir waren die ersten tage alleine im hotel und das personal war toll.... wahnsinnig lieb und nett... besonders zu empfehlen wenn man wirklich abschalten will und keine lust auf überfüllte strände hat...

Personlig och mkt. bra service.Personalen tog mej med på handlingsresor till den lilla fjärran staden. Perfekt avslappnande miljö. Strandläge.Underbar pool. Inga strandförsäljare på stranden.Fin trädgård med bla Kojdamm.Fantastiskt god mat. Åt Seafood varje dag som även var prisvärd.För den som vill ha mera liv och rörelse ligger hotellet långt ut och ensamt. Man kan ej gå till något (går att hyra fordon).Bodde ensam i bungalow för 2-personer,hade varit trångt för 2. Rummet och toan var fint, uttrustat med tv, hårtork, toalettartiklar och extra strandbadlakan (varje dag) vattenkokare, samt aircondition förstås.
