The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The resort is exceptionally beautiful and the spa was incredible. Food could be better, that’s why it didn’t get rated a 5.

We loved that the hotel is located in between so many trees and nature. Also that you won’t hear the street. The monkeys on the balkonies were a bit loud when running but fun to watch :-)

Beautiful hotel with amazing wildlife and nature. My favourite was the chickens. Staff very friendly and polite. Kitchen breakfast staff also excellent. The big man Tong who cooks the omelette's at breakfast is a very polite and friendly warming character and a true gentleman. The only problem that could prevent us from returning was the noisy neighbour we had up above us. Booming steps and scraping of chairs. I can't understand it as the hotel looked to be very well built and strong. However the booming steps could easily be heard and was annoying

Lovely hotel in Koh Chang. Staff is super nice, hotel is modern, lots of activities in hotel area. Breakfast with lot of options. You can rent a scooter from hotel to visit other parts of the island.

We had the most wonderful stay in the pool villa! Everything was perfect. The room with the interior and outside area was gorgeus and super comfortable. The whole resort is set at a great location at the beach and we really enjoyed the common areas and activities. Also the service was excellent.

Nice stay for families and couples

I spent 10 days there and in general I had a nice stay there. However, there is another hotel that belongs to the same area (Sea View) offering worse conditions. Make sure you book a room in your desired place

Amazing hotel with staff 2nd to none :-)

From start to finish it was totally amazing,the staff on Reception made us feel welcome from the very start as did all of the other staff at the hotel, All of them were so friendly and polite and had a smile on their faces all times. Amazing hotel but the staff made it just that little bit more special & are credit to the hotel.love this place will definitely be coming back. Many thanks :-)

Four nights at Sylvan

If you need a hotel on Koh Chang, Sylvan is your best choice! We stayed four nights and enjoyed every day of it. Make sure to book the Deluxe Beachfront room if you prefer close access to the beach and restaurant. Excellent and helpful staff. We booked a snorkel-boat and transfer to the next destination in the hotel reception. Everything went smooth. Very low tide in the afternoon/night time. Possible to walk along the beach to other restaurants without problem.
