The food is wonderful! As a chain hotel , i wasn't expected the stay, but turns out both dinner and breakfast was above expectation and outperformed other traditional ryokan in my opinion.

Room was spacious and well appointed with a great view of Mt Fuji. The bathroom was large with an oversized tub. The hotel feels high end even though it’s beside an amusement park. Fujisan Onsen Hotel Kaneyamaen
This is a very interesting property. We visited to glimpse Fujisan but were denied. The property is dated but has obvious charm with typical japanese 70s style architecture.
