距離市中心遠,出入不方便,搭的士,車費貴.我是租住Pool Access Room, 泳池水覺得不夠乾淨,泳池边有汚積,最初給我最尾靠食早餐那間,後來要求換房,稍為好些。穿梭巴士時間,最尾那班下午四點就要回酒店。至於那海灘,更加不堪,完全不適合游泳,就如垃圾一樣,不提也罷

It is a peaceful, quite and relaxing place. I love the pool which we can swim near to the beach. Although its location is not quite convenience (The nearest town is NaThon, however, the PadThai here in the night market is very good).

性价比极高的四星酒店。要是在热闹一点的海滩，或者自带的海滩水清沙幼一点的话，绝对就五星了。住这家酒店一定要住swimming pool access的房间，对比过别墅、sand pool access和楼上的房间，还是swimming pool access最有度假范儿~在房间里换好泳衣直接出阳台下水，玩够了再直接回房间冲热水晒太阳喝茶看电影，在酒店就可以度过精彩的一天~白天，游泳池的水波映射在房间墙上天花板上，也是赏心悦目一道景。早餐很丰盛。同时推荐酒店的自助晚餐，对比国内物价真心不贵，食物的质量和数量也毫不吝啬。而且在海滩上从日落晚霞吃到烛光晚餐，一次过满足你三个愿望~酒店提供免费的独木舟等娱乐设施，代订船票也不收取手续费。唯一的遗憾就是没能参加酒店的折餐巾折毛巾的课程。

Mai Samui resort is a very nice and relaxing resort. Staff are very nice and willing to help anytime. Room is tidy and there is a huge hot tub inside the room so that you can enjoy it anytime you like. Swimming pool is very large and there is a beautiful beach as well.

酒店環境很寧靜，設施簇新，泳池設計優美，接連的沙灘雖小，郤有醉人日落景致，員工服務態度也值得讚許。唯酒店不設免費機場接送，往返Chewang的接駁Shuttle bus班次不太方便；而在我們入住時才告知當晚房間over-booked，須要把我們的兩房間down-graded一晚，實在有點掃興！

We spent 7 days at Mai Samui and I don't think they knew we were there. Even though we went to the front desk every day, needing, and I mean needing to ask for something, they were either clueless or gave us a bold-faced lie about something. My girlfriend is never has anything bad to say about anyone or anything and she, to my surprise, used the word "awful." I agree. Facility is generally okay, good pool bar, but the staff seemingly had zero training in logic or hospitality and did not seem to care that we were there or wanted to get out of their chair for anything we had a question about or needed. BAD EXPERIENCE. When we left, they literally said, "Okay, goodbye." Did not feel welcome and they got our final bill wrong, of course. So many uses of the word "no" and most employees usually had an excuse for their ineptitude. We will be recommending AGAINST this hotel for all of our traveled friends with money. Too bad, so sad.

This definitely NOT a 5-star-property. Maybe it was once but not anymore. Property would need maintenance, room would need a proper cleaning! (Many places in room filled with dust.) Breakfast was weak - every day all the same, no real variety. Staff friendly but lacking real interest in what they do - they just do what’s needed and that’s it. Beach is unusable due to stones - you need to go to the left from the property to find some spots for going into the sea (you cannot really swim there as for a long distance the sea level is very low). The main pool is ok, the other pools I would not swim there as they were dirty (water as well as walls). It’s really a shame - it could have been such a great hotel! Maybe once it was, but definitely not anymore. And they still charge fees as a 5* hotel! Only plus - the location is super quiet and relaxed. We would not recommend this hotel and would not stay there again.

Not a 5 Star Hotel - 2 Stars at best
This is NOT a 5 Star Hotel and the advertisement is highly misleading. The place is completely remote in the middle of a jungle, hence you need a taxi ($50 / day) just to eat something as their restaurants are non functional and completely substandard, the same is true for their breakfast, which is short of a disaster. The rooms are nice and have a good space. The pool is filthy and I wouldn't risk swimming there with the bacteria growing in it. The ocean is not really accessible, lots of very sharp stones and you need to walk out almost 1/2 km to actually swim as the water is so shallow. The Hotel seems to be in bankruptcy or close to it, there are maybe 6-7 people working there vs. the expected 50-80 that you would expect of this size of a Hotel, hence don't expect any service. Everything is always out, including coconuts, that litterley grow on trees right next to the beach bar and Samoi in case you don't know is Coconut Island and if you walk into Wholefoods for a coconut it comes from Samui but its out in this Hotel. Just one example of how pathetic food & drink service is. If you still want to book then book ONE Night and see if it meets your standard then at least you are not trapped there. You can always extent the Hotel was almost 80% when we had been there in high season, but we had been told its sold out hence we have to wait 3h to check in after a 28 h trip to get there.

Dear Renee First of all, please accept our apologies for any inconvenient might be cause to you and your family. We are sorry that our resort was not as per your expectation. However, the staff was trying the best to give you a hand and treat you well during staying with us. As we are on the isolation location on Laem Yai beach close to Nathon pier at the North-Western of Samui island. This area and beach are different from Chaweng beach where their beach is sandy and can swim. According to the geography here might be a weak point for beach and the sea usage, but the strong point here is suitable for the travelers who are seeking for a peaceful, wilderness area, uncrowded, and very nice sunset view in the evening. This is good for honeymooner, couple and also family. Regarding to the F&B, thank you for your comment which we will improve on this to be better (for more choices to select) due to a business just recover from the pandemic of COVID-19 and we did not have many guests at that time. We therefore run the operation and business according to the hotel occupancy. But anyway, we keep close to guests as much as we can to let them happy during staying with us. For the check in process, as you came to check in at 10 am in the morning. That’s why we had to ask you waiting the rooms for check in and use the hotel facilities and relax first. The hotel standard check in time is 3 pm. However, our staff did try the best to allow you check in one room first at 12 pm, the second room we tried to follow up for the cleaning and let you in later. If guests are not willing to wait the check in time and arriving to hotel early morning before check in time. We have two options for recommend; 1) Leave luggage and take a rest in the resort to use the hotel facilities first, 2) Make a booking one more night early then we can keep room for you check in when you arrive next day morning. The last but not least, even we have a weak point for the beach which rarely to swim on the sea but we have a huge pool which guests can enjoy with pool float. Our pools cleaning is kept as per standard for PH levels and our pool attendant is doing this every day morning and also night time for pool treatment. However, guests might be seeing some leaves, pollen on the pool water. Please note that it can be possible as we are the resort among the natural. Plus, we have the other facilities such as gym, squash court, and bicycle available for our guests.

We spent a week at Mai Samui in May 2022 and it was amazing. The resort was very quiet during our time there - at times we were the only guests, and there was never more than 3-4 rooms booked - the island is only just recovering from COVID and they were doing some renovations (which never disturbed us at all). The staff were amazingly attentive and helpful -- we just messaged the manager to have meals delivered to our room, or poolside, or to head to the restaurant for dinner. All of the food was fresh & delicious. Our room was large, clean, and very comfortable, with direct pool access from our patio. The pool itself is worth the visit! Huge two-level pool, clean and fresh and just the right temperature to cool down during the day. The beach in front of the Mai Samui is not really suitable for swimming, and I wouldn't say it's the most beautiful beach we saw in Thailand, but it's lovely for a walk, and the sunsets were Instagram-worthy. I can't say enough good things about our quiet stay at the Mai Samui after 2 weeks of touring the rest of Thailand. Highly recommended!

The hotel was in quite a secluded area of the island, it was a minimum 30 min drive to Chaweng beach which seems to be the hub of the island. The room was clean and well air conditioned. The food in the 2 restaurants were not great, but that may possibly be because we visited out of season in August. The breakfast was very good, however. The staff were friendly, but could improve their knowledge of good places to eat on the island. Also, the reception staff's English could be improved. The beach was beautiful, but due to the strong winds, a lot of debris and rubbish was washed up and was not cleared away.

The staff are amazing, the facilities and layout of the resort is excellent. The rooms are great. The air conditioner cut off at one point, but it was fixed promptly. Also the TV is quite small and old. This resort is out of the way of the busier areas, so it is the perfect place to escape and unwind for a week or so at a good price.

Sehr nettes, abgelegenes Hotel mit super Aufmerksamen Personal. Das die Hotellandschaft entspannt einen schon beim Ankommen. Die beiden Pools sind sehr schön , der eine welche sich durch die Anlage schlängelt und der andere mit Sandboden. Was mir nicht so gut gefallen hat ist das unsere Matratze durch gelegen war (wohl ein Einzelfall,da unsere bekannten ein besseres Bett hatten) und im Zimmer war es immer etwas feucht.

nice, but not 5 stars hotel
The hotel rises mixed feelings. From the one side it looks very fashionable and stylish.It is surrounded by trees and is far from the noisy highway. It has a huge swimming pool and relaxing atmosphere. But from the other side - the hotel is locating in the northern part of the island where sea water gets low tide just after the midday, so after 1:00PM there is no sea water at all. The hotel has word BEACH in its name, but it is misrepresentation. There is NO beach in reality, you can not go into the water to swim either from the coast (because of stones and corals), neither from a plastic bridge (it doesn't have stairs). And more of it - after 1PM there is no sea water at all due to low tides. So you can only to observe the sea, but not to swim there. Also the hotel needs better management and maintenance. It says its 5 stars hotel, but in reality the rooms are dirty and you will notice many unexplained maintenance problems all over the hotel. It purely needs a better management and control. Also be aware - some rooms are locating near the air-conditioning stations, which makes loud noice inside of those rooms (it was so load I can't even imagine how someone could stay there). I changed rooms twice until I was given a silent one. The staff was helpful and polite though.

Lovely peaceful hotel with a lot to recommend it. Nice restaurants close by (taxi or car hire needed). The pub restaurant serving Thai food on site is very resonable and very good food. Lovely setting and beautiful surrounds. We had ground floor garden rooms, perfect for our family. A few minor points, pillows a little tired and the cleaners often took robes, beach towels for cleaning but didnt replace ( easy to remedy with a call to reception). Also staff parked their motorbikes at the other side of the fence at the back of the room and this woke us once or twice when they left. But would definitely stay again for the laid back charm and facilities the hotel has to offer. Had a wonderful stay.

A hotel full of water
The room is comfortable and clean with easy access to the pool. The beach is full of stone and may not be the best for swimming, however it’s great to have sunbath at pool side with the great sea view and breeze.

Beautiful spot
Amazing resort and staff. Nice part of Koh Samuai. We had a car so easy to visit all around the island. Definitely would stay again.
