Ground Floor unit w/Ocean Views - Makahuena 2104

Makahuena at Poipu 2104: Toast a perfect day with Kauai rum Mai Tais and farmers market treats on your ground floor ocean view lanai flowing to landscaped lawns and the Pacific. Comforts include an open kitchen, cool wood floors, washer/dryer, ceiling fans, flat-screen and WiFi. Sleeps 4 in 1 Queen and 2 twin beds within 1,145sf. There are three ceiling fans, one in the living room, one in the master-bedroom, and one in the guest room.

Our ocean view resort offers stunning views from each vacation condo. While we do not have air-conditioning in this unit, we have fans to help circulate the Pacific breeze. Each condo has a sliding glass door that opens onto the lanai, and windows throughout the space to help enhance the cross-breeze throughout the space.

Perched on Kauai’s southernmost point, Makahuena at Poipu awakens your spirit with both sunrises and sunsets. The oceanfront resort features individually designed two- and three-bedroom suites with a full kitchen, private lanai, washer/dryer and ceiling fans. Property perks include a pool, jet spa, tennis court and barbecue grills.

Older dated unit, but doable. The unit 2104 had entry door problems. We arrived and could not get the door to budge, we heard it unlock. unfortunately we moved from a condo in kapaa to stay 1 more week and we ended up entering it late due to this issue. So the maid informed us it sticks and is hard to get open. They really need to address this issue. It was hard to get open. Also, the shower curtains need replaced, there was mold on them. Some stuff was dusty, so not exactly clean. As i said this was last minute. It was just ok.Price was what you pay for.

Ideal location for South shore

Property was very clean, very comfortable and just as described. Views of ocean were beautiful, easy walk to major beaches and the Heritage trail. And ou kids had hours of fun

Place needs work…a remodel & paint. Bed linens were very worn. Small tv & didn’t have much volume on the audio. Very spacious & loved having a washer/dryer! Floor felt dirty . Great views of sunset from the patio! Was just okay for a short stay. No AC & no king bed.
