Excellent Unit

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this unit. It's spacious and equipped with everything you'd need for a great vacation. It was very clean and updated with nice art work. The kitchen had all the dishes, utensils , pots and pans -- better equipped than most units we've rented in the past. One great thing about it was that it was truly a ground floor unit, with no stairs, which was great for us as we have bad knees. Last year we stayed in a unit that was advertised as a ground floor and technically it was, but you had to walk down and up several steps to get to the front door. The grounds were amazing. It felt like you were in a botanical garden. We had a wonderful time. We've been to Kauai many times, and I think this was the best unit we've stayed in. Mahalo!

Great place!

It was a great location - close to a lot of things. There weren’t a lot of things (like paper towels and dish soap/scrubber) that we could have used but it had the necessities. The little patio out back was nice. There were plenty of fans to make up for not having A/C. Check in/out was super easy and we didn’t have any problems while there.

Perfect location

The home was clean, roomy, and very comfortable and relaxing. Walking distance to beaches, shopping and restaurants. The Wednesday Farmer's Market displayed fantastic local produce.

Pleasant place in garden setting

My husband, son and I stayed three nights here. Check-in went smoothly and we were provided with great info. The place was a little outdated and met most of our needs except for the pull out couch did not have any designated linens. We searched around through closets and drawers that night and found a set of king sheets which we placed and then we had to use towels as a top blanket. I reached out to the manager many times and asked to have some blankets brought by. Response time was hours later each time I attempted to connect with someone. Finally our last night somebody brought one and just hung it on the outside of the entry door.This situation was frustrating during our whole stay leaving a sour taste in our mouths. It could've been much better if our simple request and need had been attended to. any linens

Peaceful, Lovely Location

We truly enjoyed our stay. The condo was comfortable, quiet and nicely located. The property is nicely landscaped and well kept. The passes to the Athletic Club was a great bonus. We would recommend a car if staying at this location. Quick drive to the beaches and Athletic Club.

Great time in Poipu!

Had a great time at this property in Poipu. Location was excellent, close to Poipu beach! Loved the pool and ample parking. The unit was nicely updated and we greatly appreciated that there was a washer/dryer and beach chairs for us to borrow. A few things could be improved upon: overall cleanliness (the rug in the living room was quite gross), the bed is hard and slanted significantly, and the washer/dryer should be updated (particularly the washer which got some rust on the towels we washed)

Pre-retirement getaway

Everything about our stay was perfect. The condo had everything we needed and was in great location. We also enjoyed the pool and athletic club access. Simply wonderful!

Hochwertiges Apartment in kleiner und gepflegter Anlage

Not a Comfortable Stay

Overall, I would not recommend this unit to anyone until the owners make some long overdue investments in the unit to make it actually comfortable to stay in. We are typically fine with older Hawaiian/tropical furnishings in units as long as we have somewhere clean and comfortable to rest at night. However, this unit feels dark and dingy. Several things were borderline broken (e.g., kitchen sink, living room chair). The mattress was very old and very uncomfortable - we slept terribly. The couch is a bench with a worn out pad - also very uncomfortable. The mauve pink carpet is stained and kinda gross (esp. given you take your shoes off inside in Hawaii!). The owner desperately needs to upgrade these basic things to make the unit comfortable and welcoming to guests. It felt like the cleaner was in a rush. They forgot to clean the bathroom sink and there were cobwebs (w/bugs) in more than one corner of the unit. This wouldn't have been a big deal but compound with the above mentioned issues. The good thing about the unit is its location. The lanai is lovely and backs up to the creek and you are a short drive/walk from the beach, restraunts and shopping. The access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club thanks to the property management company was a highlight.

Great size

This property was quite nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The space was clean on the surface but wasn't nook and crannie clean. I would highly recommend this space for a family of 4 with the space and location. You can walk to several beaches and shopping areas. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs as the outside animals are very active and loud in the night and early morning 😄

Good price/location for a home base

Very spacious condo in a good location - walked to the beach and drove all over the island with this as our home base. Seemed well-located to explore all different parts. Bed wasn’t very comfy and I needed earplugs due to a rooster that started at 3am everyday, but other than that it was a good spot with quiet neighbors and ample parking.

Pros and Cons but hey, it's Hawaii!

Pros-The location was close to the wedding venue that we were attending at the Sheraton and although there was no AC, there were plenty of fans and we slept comfortably. The bed was soft as a cloud! Cons- This unit doesn't have any comfortable seating. The couch is dated circa 1970 and sits on a hard wood platform. The cushion is so thin, it provided no support on the hard wood. The property was also dingy. Mold on the shower curtain and dirt in the corners of the bathroom. We cleaned it ourselves upon arrival. We kept the doors open at night to have cool air but there were also no locks on the screen doors so every night anyone could have walked in on us while we slept. That was very sketchy. The description speaks of a quaint private oasis however, its on a walking path that exits the property so we did not get as much privacy as we were hoping for. I would stay again but only after a much needed update.

Beautiful property

The property, pool and location were amazing. We were able to walk to get food close by and it was wonderful being able to hop in the pool. The roosters are noisy but that’s Kauai. We absolutely loved our stay.
