"We had never been to Crete before and we have loved it. The hotel is in a beautiful setting with sea views. All the staff are fantastic, excellent service and incredibly helpful when organising excursions. The rooms we had were clean and met our expectations. Being slightly outside Agia Pelagia itself means that it is a little quieter but it is easy to get to the beach when you want to. The food we had at the hotel surpassed our expectations, breakfasts were plentiful of high quality and great variety. Evening meals were amazing, we ate at several taverna/restaurant by the beach at Agia Pelagia and the food was good, but the hotel restaurant quality and flavours were amazing. I have two teenage boys who would live on pizza and burgers given the chance but they loved their meals. That in itself is high praise. The service from George and his team was brilliant, we never met the chefs but a big thank you to them. The pianist on Monday evenings and Cretan night on Friday lent a special dimension to our stay and the latter was great fun. We were very sad to leave as we had an amazing holiday.
