“We would stay here again. Enter Kita Akabane station as your starting point in google maps for train directions or it will sometimes send you to a station a much further walk away. Avoid the trains from 0700-1030 unless you love crowds…next level crowds. Grocery store, McDonalds and other restaurants by the station. AC worked good. Plenty hot water. “This place was advertised as sleeping 7, but it barely can hold 4. When told about the accommodation was told we are Japanese and this is how it works for us. Well, if you are renting to foreigners study what works for them. Also, the beds had black jumping spiders. The house was located in a dark alley with an abandoned property at its entrance. “For a single guy this was great place to stay just 7 minutes away from the station. There several restaurants around the area to check out and bars to enjoy. But most importantly I never felt worried in the area by myself. Also helps to have google translate for better communication but overall I enjoyed my stay with a wonderful host who showed me everything I needed to know about my stay there. Look forward to staying there again.”
