「Location was perfect for 10 minute walk to convention at Grand Hyatt and beach. Never made it to the pool, not sure where it’s at. 2 minute drive to poipu beach where 20 large turtles were resting and beautiful sunset. The use of chairs, umbrella, ice chest and snorkeling gear was very convenient. 」

「We enjoyed our stay at this little condo. Couple things we would change if we could: the pool is small and not a place we wanted to spend time - totally unusual for us. We love the water and pools but this one was small and odd. The condos are right on top of each other. Almost every morning we were awakened by our neighbor on her lanai talking on her phone at 7:15ish - and their TV every night was very audible. If possible, I would stay on the 3rd floor next time so as not to hear people...

「Kiahuna Resort is special. First, it's set on one of the most beautiful and easily enjoyable ocean beaches in the world. Second, the expansive grounds are lovely and very well maintained. There's probably not a bad unit in this resort - I've stayed in 4 over the last 42 years - so it probably comes down to price point, communication with owner, and standard of furnishings and decor. We have no complaints from this stay!」

"Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
