Lovely condo with a great view of the beach. Only wish they hot tub and indoor pool was working. Peaceful place to visit. Great activities withing short drive.

Quiet & relaxing

We enjoyed the condo. It was quiet but close to things to do. We enjoyed the coquina, Aquarium and drove on the beach in Fort Fisher.

the property was very accomidating for my family of 6

only downside i could find was the concrete, stone beach. the kids had a hard time boogie boarding and swimming for the rocks. they did offer a great deal of sealife to explore and the proximity to fisher state park and southport ferry was very cool. just had some trouble swimming. the rooms were large, clean, and very comfortable. updated kitchen was a great item. we cooked all of our meals and had no trouble getting it done in that kitchen. master bed room was very comfortable, the bed was firm so if thats a deal breaker for you might want to reconsider.

Mediocre

All I can say is ok. Kitchen was filthy upon arrival. Sticky residue covering the dishes in the cabinet, dead bugs in the utensil drawers, broken drawers in the fridge & sticky floors. The mattress in the master bedroom is horrible, it Sinks in the middle and the edges are not supportive. The mattresses in the second bedroom have springs poking up. The bathrooms were very nice and recently upgraded and the location was perfect. Would not stay in this unit again.

Beautiful Views!! Nice Rental Unit!!

We had a beautiful vacation on the Ocean!! If you are wanting to stay in the area, Kure Beach has much less traffic than Carolina Beach while still being extremely close to everything. One thing you should know before you go...this section of beach is VERY rocky. You will need swim shoes if you plan on playing in the Ocean. (We stopped at Wal-Mart and spent $5 each. Not bad :) ) The Rocks make for beautiful views and pictures of the sunrise though so we would definitely stay here again. The unit itself was well kept and up to date. Very Clean and had everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation. I am submitting suggestions to the rental company on a couple things. The matress in the Master Bedroom is HORRIBLE. It is broken down to the point you could roll right off. Very uncomfortable. We literally both slept on one side. Also, the rental company is very inflexible with check-in times. Could not check in 1 minute before 4 pm. We drove 16 hours through the night and stopped at Unit first. Cleaning crew told us the unit was ready so we drove the 25 minutes to the company hoping that we could get in and rest. At 3 pm we arrived and were told it was not ready...we would have to wait. So we sat in a hot car for an hour. Not awful, but a little southern hospitality would have gone a long way. Overall, breathtaking views, lots to see and do very near, and a very comfortable well kept unit made for a great vacation!!

Less than ideal...

The condo is decorated nicely. However the air went out at 3 am and was not looked at to be fixed until after 5pm. It finally cooled down around midnight. Next morning the washer starts smoking and couldn't be fixed. The rental management company was super nice but we lost a whole day of our vacation due to 90 degrees inside the condo. Couldn't even get dressed for pictures we had scheduled with a photographer on the beach. No extra night or refund of that day was offered.
