“The Koubai suite was wonderful. The outdoor bath is very private and peaceful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the private garden was lovely. This is my favourite room in Japan so far!”
“There were two Japanese well maintained gardens and stone paving hallway outside. They were beautiful and they made us feel very historical culture. The summer season in Kyoto is very uncomfortable to stay outside because of the hight temperature but, in this house, for some reason we could stay comfortably without air conditioner. It was a huge house but all the rooms were cleaned perfectly. Especially we were impressed with the bathroom. The high-tech toilets beautiful wooden bath tub made us……
“Excellent stay here! Specially the service from two gentlemen at front desk, they were being helpful and tried to book cab for us (finding cab is headache in Kyoto!), Also they were able to speak English! The hotel is clean generally, you get a free little complimentary snack box daily if you chose no house keeping service during your stay. Very convenient location from hotel to Gion Shijo where u get all the shopping & food and also easy to walk to Kiyomizu-Dera temple (10 mins walk)! Lovely……
“Staff are helpful and polite. The room is spacious and there are complimentary drinks and personal care items. Opposite the hotel are a 24-hr supermarket and a Seria store, the Okazaki Jingu is next to the hotel and the Heian Jingu is within 10-min walk. ”
“The brief 3 night stay was amazing! Fantastic location close to convenience stores, malls and train stations.
The room was very upmarket and comfortable. The waterfall shower feature was incredible and there was a water station on every level if you wanted hot/cold water to drink.
