如同飯店的主題，就像是「住在藝術品裡」，但基本的設備依然俱全，衛浴空間也很有餘裕，唯一較可惜的是吊掛衣物的地方較小，且行李放置的位子會稍微需要考慮一下。 飯店的地點鄰近四條河原町，因此無論是購物、經典或是交通，一切都很方便。 店員態度親切且英文流利，飯店一樓同時也是一間bar，櫃檯則設在稍微裡面一點，但因為氣氛舒適，check in時請不用顧慮，直接走到裡面即可。

The BnA Alter Museum is a unique hotel experience. The staff are very friendly. The bar is great and the exhibitions (it's an Art museum after all!) add to the experience. I will definitely stay there again and would encourage those who don't want a boring hotel experience to do the same and have a unique experience in an otherwise very touristy city.

It was exciting to stay in an art room and it didn’t disappoint. Though I was a bit worried that some of the hanging artwork would be damaged as it was in the way when moving around the room. Otherwise it was lovely! Thanks.

I loved my room - it was so fun! Spacious, clean, with an amazing bathroom. Plus, I had a great view of the old city. The hotel was so well located for my quick visit to Kyoto - I wish I could have stayed longer. This was such a great find, and so affordable. I definitely recommend it!

Staying at this hotel is unlike anywhere you've ever stayed before. The rooms are so unique and brought a smile to outlr face everytime we walked in. The staff were incredible and the Cafe breakfast was absolutely delicious (typical of the type of breakfast you would get in Australia which was a welcome change) The staff were so friendly and the cocktails were very well made. Location is also very good. My kids were shocked there was no TV but very quickly got over that. This hotel is a must stay for a few nights in Kyoto

Hotel design was very cool and staff were friendly and nice. Some of the cushions in the room were a bit worn and could be replaced. The partial self service garbage and towel replacement system works but is kind of inefficient (always get a full set of replacement towels even if I only need one, garbage can only be emptied during the day and not at night). Relatively minor issues overall, and still recommend this hotel.

Nice clean rooms each thoughtfully designed with unique artistry. Breakfast was nice and they also had in an in-house bar with complimentary drinks which was a nice add. The entire hotel is a functioning art gallery so please do enjoy the exhibits & experience. Central location - walking distance to Nishiki Market and other sites. Would stay again!

This is a beautiful museum hotel with amazing staff who were always available to help. We got a free cocktail at the bar which was nice and the whole place was very eclectic and artsy. The art room itself was nice but the beds were on a platform which made it a little tricky to get in and out of bed. Bathroom was well appointed with a great shower though and the amenities and location were perfect for exploring the city. You’re walking distance to Nishiki Market and the shopping district, plus a 10 minute walk from 3 train stations for easy access to both the Shinkansen, as well as local lines to Fushimi Inari and Nara.

Lovely and very clean hotel room in a great location. It is within walking distance to the shopping district and the Gion area. The only thing was that we found the room very small for us- 2 adults and two teens. The room was otherwise beautiful and comfortable. I’d stay again but will opt for a much bigger room.

Great place to stay during our quick trip to Kyoto. Staff was pleasant and extremely helpful. The hotel had interest since it had a gallery, displayed & sold local art. Loved the view from our room that looked towards Gion and only a 30 minute walk to the area. Hotel was nicely situated across the street from 7-11 and about 10 minutes from great shopping and eateries.
