如同飯店的主題，就像是「住在藝術品裡」，但基本的設備依然俱全，衛浴空間也很有餘裕，唯一較可惜的是吊掛衣物的地方較小，且行李放置的位子會稍微需要考慮一下。 飯店的地點鄰近四條河原町，因此無論是購物、經典或是交通，一切都很方便。 店員態度親切且英文流利，飯店一樓同時也是一間bar，櫃檯則設在稍微裡面一點，但因為氣氛舒適，check in時請不用顧慮，直接走到裡面即可。

Absorb all the luck and fortune in five yen room

I entered the room and was awestrucked that we were greeted by the numerous five yens that were glued on the wall, ceiling, floor, all over the room. They also offered 2 five yens in the room with tools for guests to glue them to the wall to add to the artwork. Air-con temperature was nice and moisted, sound proof was well done as can’t hear much when room is facing the street. Room size is bigger than usual, location is about 7-mins walk from city center. Only down side was no bathtub in the room.

It's an arty hotel with great exhibition, the room itself and the common area display great artworks. What I love about the room is the Kamo River that it overlooks at. It's very soothing. Night walk by the river is very pleasant, also one of the main reasons that I chose to stay with BnA. The staff are very friendly and considerate. There were two restaurants that I wanted to try but couldn't be booked online. Since I don't speak Japanese, I asked the staff to call and make reservation for me. They took detailed notes. We were back and forth many times through emails. I deeply thank them for their patience. The smoking room by the reception provides a sketchbook to leave some notes. You can see interesting comments from people of the world. Would love to stay and experience other rooms.

Such a unique experience to be able to stay "in" an artwork! We were in the Mon Koutaro Ooyama room (#601) and it was terrific! The colours, artwork and integrated lighting programme all combined perfectly to create a really immersive experience as part of the art. We enjoyed staring at the intricacies of the paintwork and exploring the detail throughout our stay. In addition to this - the beds were super comfortable, bathroom well equipped, staff very hospitable, breakfast tasty, and the location is excellent - easy to access via a short bus ride from Kyoto station and simple to then get to the main attractions (Arashiyama, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kinkakuji temple etc). Staff have great recommendations for local places to eat and explore too. Would highly recommend staying here!

This was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. Each room is unique and is put together with so much thought. The hotel itself is spotless and offers plenty of amenities. There's even a cafe on the top floor with great quality coffee. The staff was helpful with every request we had, and helped facilitate our luggage forwarding. The location can't be beat. I would recommend to anyone staying in Kyoto!

The room was spotless. the location was outstanding--I'd had some concerns not staying at a "Kyoto Station" hotel, but not only was transit very convenient here, you're steps away from the Pontocho Alley and about a 10" walk to the Gion district. I will say the wi-fi was not the most reliable and you are not able to get fresh air in the room at night (staff say there are safety concerns with opening the windows at night). The cafe and breakfast were also excellent with super friendly staff and breakfast at the right portions.

All required amenities were provided, they also had a water filter that you can use anytime. Staff were also very friendly. She also checked if the room was ready earlier for check-in. The art work was beautiful: overall an excellent experience.

Great location and easy walk to shops and Nishiki market. The room definitely was style above function as to we had to remove a couple of the art pieces to be able to access areas of the room ( these were of course replaced on vacating). Staff were definitely less friendly than other hotels we had stayed in but they were helpful when needed. The bathroom and showers facilities were excellent. Would I stay here again- I’m afraid not.
