The lounge was lovely and the coffee machine was great. Also, small and very delicious baked goods were provided - not a real breakfast, but enough to accompany the coffee. The rooms were just spacious enough for two people with small luggage. The location was superb. All major sights were easy to reach and Gion at night is just beautiful.

I really enjoyed my stay at Rinn Kyoto Gion Shinbashi. The location was perfect for exploring Kyoto, especially Gion. It’s within walking distance of Gion-Shijo Station and close to so many beautiful areas, restaurants, and convenience stores. The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable, which was exactly what I needed after long days of exploring Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I especially loved being able to walk around Gion early in the morning when the streets were still quiet. Such a beautiful area to stay in and very convenient for getting around. I would definitely stay here again!
