“Great location, staff was very helpful and nice especially the breakfast buffet staff!”

“I and my colleague, We had a great stay at Hampton Inn Detroit/Auburn Hills-North. The breakfast was good — omelettes, sausage, potatoes, bagels , DIY waffles, with some healthy options available too. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. The location is perfect — just next to the outlet, and it’s very convenient for dining and shopping. Highly recommend this hotel!”

“over all it’s a good experience to stay in this hotel good area for shopping and eating , if room light could be brighter would be better. ”

“Online and I was told by staff there was no smoking in the rooms but our room stunk of cigarette smoke. The shower was grimy so we had to clean it to use it. The door in the room looked like it was kicked down at some point, the lock was broken. Felt unsafe. ”

“Price”

“This hotel allows pets like crazy. But they do not clean or use air fresheners after the pet owners leave. I stayed 3 nights in 2 different rooms and both of them had strong pet smell. I feel nauseated and sick of the smell. One of the rooms on 1st floor had wavy floor (possibly due to some flood issue or damp ground). The floor was wet with moisture when I entered around 6pm. The front desk guy lied that the cleaning person just mopped the room (at 6pm!!).”

“It’s a okay stay for a night the hallways are a bit stinky and not the cleanest, the room overall was pretty clean and nice very basic our power had went out due to a storm so this why we stayed the ac was amazing during the heat wave we were experiencing. The only other thing I would say that bathroom we had was filthy, walls were dirty tub was stained and the couple towels that came with the room were not the cleanest either.”

“The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was basic. The bar food and drinks were awesome. Our bartender Heli was the absolute best. My family and I enjoyed our stay.”

“Staff was friendly”

“This location is comfortable and convenient for a long-term stay. This is my fifth time staying at this location and I was surprised by the fact that my garbage disposal unit was not working, I reported it on Tuesday and it was still not working when I checked out on Sunday. In addition, there were 3 dryers in the laundry room that were out of order for days. The lack of attention to details is a slippery slope to mediocrity!”

“I checked in at 8 pm.Room is dirty with someone’s hair on the desk and room is filled with someone else’s perfume smell. Toilet still have paper in it. The room card’s demagnetize frequently. I have to go to front desk to reactivate again and again. Happened to have my door card deactivated unfortunately around 1am while getting some ice. No one’s at the reception and no staff is around. Waited there till around 3:15am when the reception lady returned from somewhere. Definitely terrible……
