“The famous hiking way through the vineyards on the shore of Lake Geneva starts just 5 min away, in Lutry. Which is very recommended on sunny days. The town itself has a nice historic center with small shops, including cafes, bakery, ATM, supermarket (3 min away) and a charming promenade on the lake (which we did almost every day). “The home was amazing. We were met at check in and given a tour of the grounds and the house along with the history of the chateau, the frescos, furniture, and books. We were surprised by the beautiful welcome gift of local cheeses, yogurts, jellies, and wine all of which were enjoyed during our stay.
