Beautiful, Clean House, quiet neighborhood

This property was an outstanding stay for us! Two adults, travelling with 1 adult child. Clean, well kept, modern build house, with a spectacular pool/waterfall and a well manicured yard. This property is a great place off the beaten path but close to everything. We would definitely come back!

Very nice property. Lots of room, clean and a great pool.

Big house, lots of beds and bath for multiple couples. Tucked back in a gated area with lots of surrounding nature. Could use some bedside lighting and a few more pieces of furniture, but that is literally it. Map on listing shows property RIGHT on the edge of La Fortuna (maybe their office) but it is actually about a 15 minute trip into town...especially at night and in the rain.

Fantastic stay in fortuna

What a beautiful property. The pool was warm and magical. The beds were so comfortable. Lots of warm water. Not within walking distance of town, but the magic of the place was a fine trade-off.

Beautiful property and great for families

The property was beautiful and secure. The home was amazing and cannot say enough about the pool. The groundskeeper showed us sloths every morning. The house is a little bit outside of La Fortuna (15 minutes) but we were ok with that. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The property and house itself was amazing! Very well kept and maintained and had a beautiful outdoor relaxing and swimming area that is all yours! I highly recommend stopping beforehand (main areas/cities) to get food if you are not wanting to drive all of the time as the restaurant options within walking distanceare limited. Overall a great location for any type of trip if you are looking for the sights not the beach!

Great Stay

This property is wonderful, there are other houses on the property but they are all very private. The groundskeeper showed us where the local sloth was each morning. We saw a ton of toucans one day they were so fun to watch. Having the pool right out the back door is wonderful. Need a car as it’s a bit out of townwatch.

Wonderful stay near La Fortuna

We had a fabulous 4 day stay in this house. Lovely gardens with lots of wildlife and wonderful pool. Well equipped and very comfortable. Location worked well for us as we had a rental car (house is 15 mins outside La Fortuna)

Multi-generation stay

We had a great experience at this property! It’s nestled in the lush country. I was impressed with how clean the property was, and the groundsman kept the outdoors in great shape. He even showed us a sloth on property.My son left an important item, and the owner coordinated a driver to drive it 3 hours to Tamarindo.Communication and check in was easy. We would stay here again!

Quiet property outside of La Fortuna

Quiet, beautiful pool, amazing views, close enough to La Fortuna for essentials, food, and activities yet far enough to relax. Take a walk around the property to see sloths and other wildlife.

Sloth watching from the Pool!

Great place, Louis, the grounds keeper, told us on day one there were 3 sloths on the property. He took us around and we got great footage. We could watch one each day from the pool/patio area. The house was great. Only down side was its little trek to LaFortuna, but I would highly recommend.

A quick week in Casa Colibri

This is a lovely house and is so much better than the description and photos on the VRBO site. The entire house has been updated with new luxurious bathrooms and a new kitchen. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was so awesome!!! The grounds were beautiful and we were wanting for nothing . Truly felt like we had everything available to us as well as a grounds crew that knew the area and the animals well. It was such a perfect place for us and we look forward to staying here again ! Beautiful villa outside of la Fortuna

Very nice accommodations. Everything was clean and in good working condition. It was just as advertised. The added bonus was that Luis who came to clean the pool every day also took the time to show us sloths, toucans and other wildlife on the property. We would not have seen them on our own. Really enjoyed our stay!!!

Beautiful property - off the beaten path but close to everything

The house was very modern and clean with a lovely infinity pool and gorgeous huge bathrooms. Nice to have Alexa at our disposal for lights etc. Very comfortable beds and lots of privacy.

La Fortuna Vacation

We spent 5 wonderful nights at Casa COLIBRÍ. The house is very nice and would highly recommend. We loved the nightly visit from host pup Lulu and her friends. Luis showed us Sloths on the property every day, saw more on Property than we did at Sloth Park. Had great ATV adventures, Sky Adventure with zipline and hanging bridges in the area.

Great place near Arenal volvano

Arnaldo was a fabulous host. He assisted getting us to the best tours. We had a wonderful 5 days, the pool was a great way to unwind each night. We also did the personal chef for an evening meal. Best money spent. Five stars for all! We would woulddefinitely stay here again.

Beautiful property

We loved our stay at Casa Colibri. The house was clean and had everything we needed for cooking our own meals. It was close enough to all of the adventures we went on yet far enough away from town that we had a true feel for the rural vibe. Louis showed us the resident sloth! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot

This was the perfect spot and everything we hoped for. So much room to spread out for a family of 4 and conveniently located near everything we wanted to see. Everyone there was so helpful and informative. Can't think of a better way to experience the La Fortuna area! We loved it. Thanks for the stay!
