The hotel reception staff was very friendly & helpful. The grounds are beautifully planted and well-maintained - lots of birds!
Breakfast was substantial with good choices. Room was clean and spacious. For those driving, there’s ample parking.
The trail in back is fine, but a bit overgrown & insect repellent is required, but nice walk.

The location and how the cabins were made. Seeing the volcano from the windows was a very relaxing experience. The birds, the flowers, the sloth on the trail made us feel so close to nature. We had a very satisfying nature trip vacation.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Campo Verde. Everything was very close. Restaurants and attractions. Having the option for breakfast was perfect for us too (it was delicious) The room was clean and cozy. Reception was very helpful with suggestions. Wish we could have enjoyed the hike but weather was not on our side. More reasons to come back and visit Hotel Campo Verde again!

The location of this hotel is great! Just outside of the town of La Fortuna so it’s very quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to all of the attractions and activities.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view of the volcano was amazing and the trail on the property was really beautiful to see.

Room was comfortble, view of the volavno was great from the room, loved that parking spot is next to the room and breakfast was also good.
Only complaint i have is the shower and the restroom. The water pressure was so low which was very inconvenient to take a warm shower.

We stayed in #6 and had the most amazing view of the volcano. There's a couple restaurants within a very quick walking distance- one next door, one across the street- so finding a place for dinner was super easy. The room had a lovely sitting area, a comfy bed, and a large bathroom with a shower and a jetted tub. The property had a walking/hiking trail that was gorgeous. It took us about 30 mins to walk the loop. There was also a common area with a fire pit and some chairs to enjoy the property. We would definitely stay again.

Miguel made check-in very easy, the room was immaculate (great bathroom and beds), and the trail on the property is a real treat. After going to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve previously, I prefer this trail over that one -- tons of frogs and lizards.

It feels like you are staying at a botanical garden surrounded by hibiscus and other plants with nearby native animals in the surrounding rainforest. We were awakened by the call of howler monkeys and the peeps of geckos every morning at sunrise, and saw toucans and other birds nesting in nearby tress during the day - mostly early morning and near dusk. Also families of howler monkeys in the trees. The hotel area includes a trail (about 1.5 km) into the rainforest and across a creek that is well maintained and similar to those at Silencio or Mistico. The buffet breakfast was fantastic!

The property is very well kept, with lovely plants that attract all types of birds to watch with the Arenal volcano in the backdrop. Our villa was comfy and had a porch that allowed one to sip coffee and enjoy the view. It is also close to the excursions we chose to do, with a great breakfast buffet with local and traditional options to choose from. Would highly recommend!

The road inside is not paved, is a dirt road. The cabins are big with lots of space. This property is very small with 12 or 14 cabins only. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of food and very tasty. we liked everything they prepared, On the back of the property they have a trail that end in a river , very nice walk. The property is literally at the foot of the Arenal volcano, you will have astonish view from your front porch.
