Staff were very nice and made us feel important and welcome every day. They answered our questions and made excellent suggestions for our travel plans. The hotel room itself was the basic one. We would have liked to have a fridge but although that was not available, staff were able to accommodate our needs. The fan and A/C worked great. Water pressure and temperature was good. Bed was a good size but not that comfortable of mattress. Pool had warm water with ample seating and shade options making it a nice spot to relax and refresh after a day of beaches/sightseeing before going back out again. Location is central and made for a good jumping off point.

Location, location, location. Very close to all and far enough to relax. The hotel is located 2 small blocks away from El Malecon so it makes it very convenient to go for walks to the restaurants or just enjoy the beach. If you are planning to do any tours, I highly recommend to booked the tours at the hotel, so you can get picked up and dropped off. The only inconvenience is the restaurant they use for the breakfast. The waiters are on their phones most of the time, they make too many mistakes with the orders. Go eat breakfast somewhere else. But I'll definitely come back to the hotel

After we upgraded to a king suite everything was fine. As all the other reviewers wrote the staff is very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is disappointingly smalll but the fruit plate is good. check in and out was seamless. the shower is fantastic!

This is a beautiful hotel in a quiet location 3 blocks from the malecón. There are a number of excellent restaurants within 2 blocks. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Beds, a/c and hot water were all great. The pool is immaculate and heated. Can’t imagine a better place to stay in La Paz and we will definitely stay here again.

Stayed March 2026! We very much enjoyed our stay! Great size room, ac was amazing after being in the sun all day. 2 blocked from malecon & the church. Clean and tidy. Staff is always friendly! Breakfast was limited but there were two of us and we shared and it made it easier for us also it’s free ! Lol Bed was a little firmer than I liked but that’s my preference. And I saw reviews about outdated furniture but that didn’t bother us at all. It was a great stay thank you to the wonderful staff!!

I looked at the reviews before I booked and can’t figure out what th others were talking about. This place is nothing like the photos, it’s very old and dated, needs a remodel, isn’t particularly clean and is very loud. There is no insulation springs doors and windows so it’s very noisy, despite the fact that it’s in a quiet area. The pillows are like plywood, sheets are polyester and the towels feel like sandpaper. The staff were all nice and helpful and the location was great, but other than that, it’s not a nice hotel.

Room was clean however outdated. Would’ve been great to have a mini fridge, newer linens and furniture. Location was close to pier and great restaurants and local bars. Breakfast was phenomenal, we opted to upgrade our free breakfast and it was worth it however if you’re a light eater the complimentary breakfast is also delicious. Overall a good stay if you’re just looking for a clean room to sleep in at night.

Everything was lovely and clean. The pool and garden was so inviting. My husband and I would have preferred to have a room opening up to the inner court yard. Facing the street was noisy whereas the court yard was quiet and had the view of the pool and gardens. It should be a given when there is room and there was! The bar and bartender was a delight!! Thank you! Also, the breakfast next door at Melt was very tasty and the staff friendly and helpful! Do not miss having a meal across the street at NIM…. Excellent food and waiters!! Such a treat!
