"We had group of 8 and we enjoyed the home and its amenities, including the sunroom outside. The hosts were accomodating and had stocked essentials which were appreciated. We did a lot of driving but found the location accessible and the town of Adere was fantastic."

"Lovely experience. Richard the owner was very accomdating and answered all my questions. Very close to downtown Ennis and the Cathedaral (a five minute walk). I would absolutley stay at this property again. A sweet taste of local Irish living. "

"We made the barricks property our home base for our family group of 9 while exploring Ireland and could not have asked for better accommodations! The restored property is absolutely beautiful! Our lovely host, Marion, shared the rich history of the barricks with us and we were amazed at how much work went into restoring the property. "We had a lovely stay in this house. It was located in a beautiful location overlooking the estuary and a short drive from the local village. It was very clean and tranquil, exactly what was needed after getting away from a big city. The views of the many islands on the River Shannon were breathtaking. Anne was very friendly, easy to contact and accommodating to our needs. We would highly recommend it for somewhere to stay, especially to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in a picturesque setting"
