The property owner and staff were personable, attentive and responsive. Our cottage was perfect - plenty of room and the amenities were comfortable. We have stayed here in the past, and will continue to stay here on our visits to Monticello. Highly recommended.

This is the 2nd year we have gone there in the Summer. I am so happy that we found this place. It is tucked away in a little private corner without all of the traffic and noise. It is very cute and furnished with all you need. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

We enjoyed the place and it was very well kept. All in working conditions and clean. Communication was a bit challenging as there is no receptionist around the clock. Most information is clear and easy to follow. The one difference we found here, compared to other hotels, is that you are required to leave the entire property by 11am. Besides this, we enjoyed the stay and it is close to Indiana Beach with a nice view to the river across the street.

Loved the area. About an 8 min drive to Indiana beach. If you plan on staying there and cooking out bring own grilling utensils.

We found a live roach or some type of beetle crawling around this morning. I took a pic of it to send you if you want. Also one of the bedroom floors has water seeping out from under the flooring.

My son and I love to go to Indiana Beach! We always stay at the Blue Door Cottages. They're affordable, clean, and it's so nice to have your own little place, versus a room at a hotel.

Nice cottage

Nice, cute cottage for an overnight stay. Would be best suited for a summer time family lake vacation. Had minor issue with TV connection; was promptly addressed by the manager. Liked being able to park car right next to the cottage.
