We chose this place because of its size and location. We were in town for an event and this was one of the only places we could find that could comfortably handle a group.
Check in was extremely easy and a fast process.
If you stay here i recommend spending some time on the dock. We did q little fishing while we were there and actually caught some red drum
The house is great and I'd your looking for a great place for a group then i definitely recommend staying here.
We had a great time . Plenty of room for all 26 of us . We didn't feel like we were stepping over each other . We enjoyed setting on the porch watching the alligators and shrimp boats ..
Everything was great. Kids caught plenty of crabs off the dock and a few catfish. This place can accommodate a large group with lots of space to spread out.
We came in to fish with Big Dog Fishing Charters and they set us up with this great location that was perfect for our large group. Totally enjoyed our stay! Thank you again, we will be back

Large but comfortable industrial to residential conversion
Very roomy house was relatively clean and comfortable for our small group. Only complaints were the broken refrigerator/freezer (would not get cold enough) and the mandatory damage insurance… (or allow them to put a refundable $3000 charge on your credit card).
I can’t say enough good about this house! Everything was clean, spacious, comfortable and a great view!! Hands down I would rent again!! Thank you so much great experience!!
Kelly thank you for your kindness and the opportunity to enjoy a great getaway place for us. So peaceful and relaxing we enjoyed our stay. This was very beneficial for us and we will be back
We really enjoyed our stay. Host is very honest and quick response in any problem. Very specious building we were 11 adult and 1 child everyone became happy and next time if we visit we wants to stay there.location is a little bit far from new orleans but we can do fishing and so many activities. Thank you so much Vrbo

Fishing trip
We enjoyed the stay but the cleaning person never made there before me my family made it there.
Getting together with friends can be a challenge to find the right place, but this house does everything you need and more. Full, large kitchen, gas grill, sleeping for more people than you can imagine, giant living room — and it’s right on the water.
We booked some fishing charters & having the ability to have them pick us up and take us to go limit out is a blessing.
Can’t wait for the next trip, book yours now!
The check in process could have been a bit more proactive on the host’s end. I did have to call for the info, but Kelly got back to me almost immediately. Other than that, everything about this place is exactly as it appears on the listing or better in person.
Was a wonderful vacation with the convenience to well equipped rental on what you need.
Went fishing, crabbing and enjoying the view while there. My daughter and her family went on a fishing trip that came and picked them up with quite a few fish caught and they fillet. Went on swamp tour but couldn’t do to much cause of weather and the end of our trip.
Our host was wonderful. Thank you 😊

Fishermen'so Paradise
We have a fishing group that has been making a fall trip for about 40 years to different places and this was the best one. This spot is right in the middle of some of the best inshore fishing around and is only a short drive from New Orleans. The place is right on the water and has 3 slips where you can keep your boat in the water. The kitchen is first class and there is plenty of room. 4 bathrooms is a real plus. The view of the sunset over the water and marsh is unmatched .I highly recommend it to all hunters and fisherman. Bill Fields

Cool camp, but really dirty
It’s a nice camp, but it was very dirty when we arrived. Grill had utensils from who ever used it last that were dirty, grill itself was very dirty, there were birds in the house, bird feces on the sofa, dirt all over the floor, everything in the drawers had rat feces on it in the kitchen, they had flees in the bed in one of the rooms, the floors were dirty. It worked for the purpose it served, but if they cleaned the place up it could be a really nice camp.
We wanted to get the away-from-the-city, southern Louisiana feel, and we got it. House was the perfect size, the beds were very comfortable, and the linens were clean and plentiful. Kelly was very responsive, helpful and easy to work with. Some minor issues that didn't hinder our enjoyment, but should be addressed. The place needed a little straightening up. Clutter around the edges, some areas pretty unkempt, electronics not fully functional, and some damaged areas that need attention. Again, not enough to keep us from staying here if we return to the area.

Good Times Again
The property is a great hunting and fishing camp, This was our second year and everything was great except the weather and fishing. Wonderful sunsets and in water boat docking. We paid ahead for 8 but only had 5. We were told the bill would be adjusted but we haven't heard anything. Please let me know. Bill Fields

Run down fishing camp.
First off the air was broke and the general condition of the house is run down and dirty. Broken tiles everywhere, rugs placed over them to hide it. When you turn on the ceiling fans you think they’re about to fall out of the ceiling. Very disappointed with this stay.
