Luxury penthouse of 120 m2 in a beautiful location (30 meters to the beach) with beautiful sea view and panoramic view of the Centre of Carvoeiro with the beach on your doorstep! There is parking facility in a Garage Box less then 100 m from the penthouse. The penthouse also has solar panels and a solar water heating system, therefore it is a very environmentally friendly home.
The Penthouse Casa Amarela is located on the third and top floor. It has a nice round 50m2 living room with a fantastic view. Surrounding is 100m2 terrace with outside shower and breathtaking views. There is internet TV so you can continue your favorite (sport) programs. Fast Wifi is at your disposal as well.
There are also two spacious bedrooms with two modern bathrooms and a spacious fully equipped kitchen. All rooms have air conditioning. The access to the penthouse directly from the street with entrance security door + intercom.
There is a villa manager that you can reach and can answer all your questions. She speaks fluent Dutch, Portuguese and English.
Casa Amarela will be cleaned during your stay and supplied with clean towels and sheets.
There is a cot and a baby chair for the little ones. In the storage room you will find beach chairs, umbrellas, beach-toys for the youngest and a Weber bbq.
Within walking distance of less than one minute from Casa Amarela are several restaurants, bars and shops boutiques etc. There are many picturesque and beautiful beaches nearby. The nearest is in front of the apartment just 30 meters away. The beach is sheltered by high cliffs. You can also step on one of the boats for a trip to the caves around Carvoeiro. You can make great walks over the cliffs and explore the scenery at Algar Seco or take beautiful photos at the Paraiso Beach. If you fancy exploring the area, take the car and drive through the beautiful scenery to Monchique in the mountains, or to the historic towns of Silves and Caldas. In Carvoeiro you can enjoy delicious fresh fish and shellfish food, but also in the fishing port of Ferragudo within a 10 minute drive.
The beautiful cities Lisbon and Sevilla (Spain) are both about a two and a half hour drive.
Are you a golfer?
Within a distance of 5 km there are several beautiful golf courses such as; Vale de Milho (9 hole par 27) - 5 minutes. Quinta do Gramacho (18 holes par 72) and Pinta (18 holes par 71) both within 10 minutes drive. You can also choose one of the other Championship courses a 30 minute drive; Palmares and Penina and the beautiful courses (35 minutes drive) at Quinta do Largo and Vale do Lobo.
A day out with the kids?
The children can enjoy a day in one of the theme parks in the area. They will enjoy the Zoo Marine Park (dolphins, orcas, sea lions) Slide and Splash Water Park, Krazy World all within 10-30 minutes drive from Carvoeiro.
Groceries.
Opposite Casa Amarela are several small 'Mom and Dad 'supermarkets. Furthermore, within a 5 min drive there is a big Intermarché and within a 10 minute drive there is a Aldi and Apolonia supermarket (large and luxurious). If you don't have a car at your disposal than take one of the special buses that wil bring you there.
Medical assistance.
30 meters away in the main street is a medical practice with GPs.
Transport
Right in front of Penthouse Casa Amarela there is a bus stop and you will also find city taxis that can take you to the airport, golf course, etc. But Uber taxi is also good and reliable. You do not need to hire a car, but if you want to make trips it is convenient. There is free parking along the main street and near the Penthouse.

In the Penthouse you will find our house book. It has information about the house but also where to go and where to eat.
