Had a fantastic time at this villa. Really spacious and only a 15 minute walk into the Carvoeiro. Part of the walk is steep but it's only about 5 for a taxi back. Lovely restaurants in the area as well. Would definitely recommend the villa.

Fantastic villa and absolutely perfect for our visit.Layout excellent and spotlessly clean.2 bedrooms downstairs were ideal for my sister and her family while we stayed upstairs in the other 3 bedrooms.Pool was excellent and cleaned during our stay.Communication with Paulo was very clear and easy.A brilliant place to stay if considering this area.

We had an amazing, multigenerational stay at Villa Cascade. Paulo, the host was incredibly helpful before our arrival with heat in the pool, letting us leave luggage, and recommendations. During the stay we had a few minor issues that Paulo fixed or helped us fix that didn’t impact our stay at all. The house had everything we needed for the beach and the pool and had kids kitchenware as well, which was super helpful for our toddler and elementary aged child. We had an incredibly memorable stay and would absolutely recommend this villa. The main town and beach were about a 20-25 minute walk from the Villa. An easy walk downhill there but a bit harder home. Very easy drive and easy to get Ubers when needed.

Luxiourious villa

We enjoyed our stay here. The villa was amazing and very spacious. In particular the pool and outside space was amazing, it was nice to have a pool big enough and deep enough to swim in!. The kitche equipment and facilities were the best of any villa we have stayed in and as we likelt to cook this was brilliant for us. The hosts were very friendly and responsive when we had small questions and sorted out a minor problem very quickly. It is a 20 minute walk into the resort down hill and up again on the way home. There are some nice restaurantsa/ bars. We had a grat stay here.

A Carvoeiro Gem

A wonderful week with family at a beautiful villa in Carvoeiro. Walking distance to the town and beach. Perfect for exploring the local area. Great pool facilities which the children loved, particularly the shallow pool being connected to the main pool made it ideal for children of all ages to enjoy. The villa itself is gorgeous and provided all we needed for a very enjoyable stay! We have already booked for next year! Thank you Paulo!

This villa was marvellous. Spotlessly clean, extremely spacious with all bedrooms en-suite. The kitchen was equipped with anything you could possibly need and more. There were many places to sit and eat both outside and inside. The pool was a great hit but very deep so care should be taken with little ones, it did however have a shallow area that lead straight into the deeper water. There were many places to eat and drink within a 20 minute walk, some of which was quite hilly, a taxi could easily be found for about €5. The villas owner Paulo communicated well via message and answered any queries we had. His charming son greated us when we arrived with a selection of beer, wine and soft drinks. He showed us around the villa explaining things as he went. All in all a very enjoyable week was had and we would love to return at a later date.

Great location and pool

We were a party of 3 seniors, 3 adults and 3 children (ages 6-14). The home is large with lots of room for everyone. The pool was a huge hit with the kids, and there were ample towels and pool toys. The outdoor space was comfortable with lots of seating. The kitchen is huge and comfortable, but is not well stocked with basics (we had to purchase cooking basics like salt & pepper and olive oil, which we have been used to having provided in other VRBO properties). The location was great as a base for exploring the region, and is 15 minute walk to the cute town center and beach. The bedrooms were also very spacious with huge en suite bathrooms, which was great. The beds were not particularly comfortable, but they did have clean bedding. Our only real complaint was that the owners stayed for part of our visit in the downstairs apartment. Not a really big deal, but it would have been nice to have been told that was the situation in advance. It didn't impact our stay in any significant way, but if a house is owner-occupied it normally is stated in the property description. Overall we had a very nice visit - thank you!

Fantastic Villa in a great location

Based on the photos and previous reviews, we had high expectations for this villa. Which were all exceeded! A marvellous, well equipped, spotless, and glamorous place with plenty of room for our group of 9. Our adult kids and nephews loved everything about it, as did we. The location is a 5/10 minute walk to nearby various restaurants and bars, plus a 15 minute (hilly) walk into central Carvoeiro. Taxis are plentiful in the area and there’s lots to do within 15/20 minutes of the villa. The owners and their son were lovely and very helpful before and during our stay. Would recommend to anyone. We will be back!

Magnificent villa

This villa was perfect for our family group. 5 bedrooms all with massive ensuites. A beautiful pool and outdoor area. The kitchen was very well equipped. Paulo was fantastic, he met us there with his son. He was always easy to contact. A can’t recommend it highly enough.

Wonderful stay in an amazing villa

Thank you Paulo and family for an amazing stay in your wonderful villa. The villa is very modern with lots of space for everyone. The terraces were large with great sea views. The outdoor areas were excellent with the pool a particular highlight that everyone really enjoyed. The bikes were an added bonus that we got great use from. Location was good and restaurants, shops etc. all within 10-15mins. Overall an outstanding villa and one of the nicest we have ever stayed.

Fantastic villa in beautiful Carvoeiro

This was the perfect villa for our family of 7 including 2 young children. Paulo and his wife and son were incredibly welcoming and always happy to help. The villa is stunning and incredibly spacious. The pool was perfect for our 2 small children with a shallow section that enabled them to play safely. The town is only a short walk away with plenty of nearby restaurants, bars and cafes. A great place to visit and we shall definitely revisit the area again and couldn’t recommend staying at this villa any more highly.

Spacious, luxury family home in Carvoeiro

Our family of six (two parents, four young adult children ranging in age from 17 - 24) had a wonderful stay at the Gaspar's home June 4-14, 2022. Paolo, his wife, and son met us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The home is well-maintained, clean, safe, and so conveniently located in the Algarve. A couple of issues came up in the beginning (Wi-Fi cut out) but all were addressed quickly and resolved. It was easy to communicate with Paolo via What's App and he was very responsive. Our children loved having their own bedroom suites with large closets and their own bathrooms. Sheets and towels were clean, crisp, and high quality. Although the air was cool at night when we were there, we did use the A/C in the evenings when we had lights on to keep mosquitoes from coming in (more of a nuisance we didn't want to deal with). We enjoyed views from the roof deck, swimming in the pool (which has a nice shallow kids area as well as deeper water for lap swimming), and a well-appointed kitchen. If you like to cook, the kitchen has everything you'd ever need. We used the washing machine and hung clothes out to dry - which they did quickly in the sun. There is plenty of outdoor seating and lounge chairs and an outdoor BBQ area which we did not use. In terms of convenience, we chose the home due to the close proximity to town. We enjoyed evening strolls to get gelato or to walk along the boardwalk. Food is important to us and we enjoyed the following restaurants: Chef's Kitchen (walkable), Bon Bon (Michelin star restaurant - fantastic) , Oleao de Porches (the wife of the owner of Bon Bon owns this restaurant), and Cafe Fino for breakfast/brunch/coffee. Two supermarkets are close by - Intermarche and Apolonia. We preferred Apolonia as we found fruits and vegetables were fresher there. The location of the home and Carvoeiro in general turned out to be wonderful. We flew into Lisbon, rented cars (make sure to get toll tags), and took day trips as far west as Sagres and east to Tavira. We did a kayak tour as a family to the Benagil caves and along the coast line and the beach where we met the guides at was only 15 minutes from the house. The Algar Seco is close by too. We enjoyed our stay, highly recommend this home for families, and recommend Carvoeiro for an unforgettable Algarve experience! Many thanks to Paolo and his family!

Une grande et très belle villa de haut standing

Nous avons eu le bonheur de séjourner dans la magnifique grande villa de Paulo et Fatima. Ce fut un séjour parfait, nous avons été accueillis par Paulo et Fatima à notre arrivée avec des collations pour expliquer le fonctionnement de la villa. La villa est de haut standing avec 5 grandes et belles chambres toutes équipées de dressings, salles de bain et climatisation. Une très grande cuisine éclairée, fonctionnelle avec tout l'électroménager nécessaire avec vue sur la piscine. Une buanderie avec 2 machines à laver (17kgs et 8kgs). Un grand salon avec une télé immense compatible Netflix et un décodeur satellite avec plusieurs chaînes internationales. Un coin barbecue : idéal, donnant sur la partie jardin avec son propre point d'eau et tous les ustensiles nécessaires . Une très grande piscine, magnifique avec sa cascade et ses spots de lumières multicolores, qui la nuit tombée vous donnent un spectacle lumineux. Face à la piscine se trouve plusieurs transats et parasols. Paulo nous a mis à disposition plusieurs sortes de bouées et jeux aquatiques. Un garage fermé est également à disposition, mais l'allée y menant est tellement grande que nous ne l'avons pas utilisé. La villa est située dans une impasse, donc sans passages, ni nuisances. C'est une villa très sûre niveau sécurité. Bref une splendide villa de luxe, fonctionnelle avec une exposition parfaite donc allez y, foncez, vous serez ravis de votre séjour. Nous tenions également à remercier chaleureusement Paulo pour sa disponibilité,sa réactivité, sa gentillesse pour ce séjour inoubliable. A bientot

ESTUPENDA CASA

Muy bonita la casa y muy bien situada a 10 minutos andando de la playa y centro de Carvoeiro. La piscina espectacular con mil hinchables para los niños y con toallas para baño. Las habitaciones muy espaciosas (más de lo que aparentan las fotos) y 4 de las 5 con vestidor. Los propietarios muy amables, nos recibieron muy bien, la única pega que estuvieron toda la semana en el sótano de la vivienda y era un poco "raro". La cocina es espectacular y tiene de todo (4 cafeteras de todo tipo!!), y el pantallón del salón de cine. En resumen una semana muy agradable que recomiendo.

Family Holiday

There were 10 in our party 6 Adults and 4 Children. The property is very spacious very large bedrooms and bathrooms very well equipped kitchen, lovely outside eating area large lounge with large tv. Excellent pool plenty of sun loungers. It is a 10 minute walk to beach and large choice of restaurants down a fairly steep hill. Paulo met us when we arrived with drinks and was always available by phone. We all had a wonderful holiday and would recommend it to other families.

Amazing Villa

Had a fantastic holiday in Paulo’s Villa. Paulo contacted us the day before arrival asking if we wanted to check in early which was really beneficial as we were already in the area. He welcomed us to the villa with a tour around and showed us how everything worked. All the rooms were huge and much more spacious than the photos depicted. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was a bonus as there were 9 of us staying. Also 2 of the bedrooms were downstairs which was a bonus as one of our party was less mobile. The villa was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The walk in to town was down 2 hills and took us 10 minutes and not much longer to get back up. The town has a good selection of bars and restaurants. Our favourite bar being Bote overlooking the beach. The Indian restaurant Pani was fantastic. Great food and spectacular views over the sea. We loved the fact that there was plenty of inflatables for the pool which we were able to use and bikes for the kids to play on. The outside table area under the cover gave lots of shade during the day and was a natural hub for socialising in the evening. 2 big supermarkets within 5 mins drive. Also water parks and Zoomarine within half an hour. I would highly recommend Paulo’s villa to anyone looking for a very relaxing stay in luxury. I hope that we will return there again. Thank you for letting us stay.

A large and beautiful villa. Full of everything you will require for a perfect holiday.

Spent my 40th Birthday in the fantastic villa with seven of my closest friend. We had a fabulous time, the villa is HUGE with plenty of space for all. Each bedroom having it's own massive bathroom. The pool doesn't seem very big but looks can be deceiving. It is incredibly deep and was cleaned during our stay. This villa has everything you need for a enjoyable stay with a very well stocked kitchen (equipment not food) Paulo and his wife greeted us on our arrival which was lovely. I have no faults with this villa at all.

Fantastic house!

Beautiful villa that has everything you need! We were two families (4 adults and 5 kids age 8-14) spending two weeks in July/August 2018. Paulo and Fatima gave us a warm welcome with soft drinks, snacks and ice-cream. During our visit Paulo sent us messages checking that we were satisfied. Good service! The house is great! Spacious, fantastic kitchen, barbecue and large bed- and bathrooms. Very clean and tidy. Lovely swimming pool and outside area. The villa is located 12 minutes walk from Carvoeiro centrum, 5 minutes drive to supermarket Intermarche and 6 minutes to Apolonia. We give it our highest recommendation and hope to come back! Outstanding in every way!

Paulo and his wife Fatima gave us a warm and generous welcome to this amazing property. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you may need, incredibly spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable, and all bedding is in great condition. The outdoor space is very well configured, with great dining space in the shade. The top floor terrace has amazing views to the sea and again a cosy dining space under a canopy shade. A friendly cleaner comes twice a week, as does the pool boy. The property is located in a very safe area and we had no concerns whatsoever. I would not hesitate to book this villa again. We really enjoyed Carvoeiro town and its beach - all within walking distance, and the many other gorgeous beaches which are within a short drive away. Thank you again Paulo and Fatima.

Amazing!

My friends and I recently stayed in Paulo's villa. The heading says it all, it was amazing. The villa is very conveniently located - about a 10 minute stroll to the shops, bars, restaurants and beach. The pictures don't really show just how fabulous the villa is. It is incredibly spacious inside and out and has absolutely everything you could need. The outside BBQ area is brilliant with plenty of bench space for preparation of food and a handy sink. Not only is there a large fridge and freezer which includes a water/ice dispenser, there is also a separate large wine fridge which came in very handy. The villa was lovely and clean when we arrived and Paulo had very generously bought us some welcoming nibbles and drinks. There's a handy booklet giving information about the area and Paulo also gave us some tips on where to visit and how to get to places. I can't recommend this villa highly enough. Not only is the property fantastic, Paulo is extremely helpful and answered all our questions both before and during the stay. He kept in touch to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves - which we did immensely. Thank you Paulo.

Perfect Week's Holiday in this Luxury Villa, before we moved onto Hotel for our Daughter's Wedding

Stayed from Mon 12th - 19th Sept. Week's stay before our Daughter's Wedding. What a Find !!! What a great location !!! What a place to stay !!! Just got back from Carvoeiro for our Daughter's perfect Wedding in this gorgeous part of Portugal , and we really didn't want to come home. We stayed for the first 7 days of our 10 day trip in this fantastic Villa , which was luxury through and through, with 4 out of 5 bedrooms with full en-suite , with the 5th having toilet and wash basin. The bedrooms were huge and and all with walk - in wardrobes , and air-con. Beautiful decor throughout , and fantastic kitchen and outside bbq , just added to our great week's stay . There were 7 of us and our 2yr old grandson , and we never once got under each other's feet , as the Villa was massive inside and out. The pool was huge aswell , and bigger than the pictures show. Our Grandson had a ball all week in there, and it was warm enough to swim in it in the evenings , which was a great bonus compared to Hotels. Paulo met us with information and a beer , along with his Wife and Daughter , who were all lovely , warm , and genuinely nice people who couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back in the near future , and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this great Villa , which is easily the best we've ever stayed in !!! Thankyou Paulo for letting us stay here before moving to our Hotel , and thankyou to Villa Cascade for making our stay memorable and relaxing, even with Wedding jitters all round !!!

Unique amazing villa

We were met by Paulo and his lovely family on arrival at their beautiful villa, they took time to show us around the house and how everything worked. We all sat and had a beer around the pool, before they left, in which time he gave us maps and all local info we might need. We had a wonderful week in this amazing house, we were a party of seven with 3children, the kids are real water babies and it was hard to get them out of the pool in the evening although this may not be suitable if the kids are too young as the pool is deep. The villa is very spacious with equal sized well suites not rooms the en suites were huge with lovely showers. The kitchen is state of the art with everything and more you could possibly need, The outside kitchen and barbecue is great too, and the peach trees were divine. The local town and beach, with all the walks, caves and restaurants (can reccomend the cocktail bar on the beach who do an amazing strawberry mojito) is lovely and very family orientated. We hope to visit is amazing house again in the future for another wonderful holiday, so thank you Paulo, Fatima and your children.
