Great location

It was clean. The beach, pool & staff were wonderful. Owner answered my questions very fast. The only thing I would suggest is replacing the bed pillows as 1 was all lumpy and others are very flat making it hard to sleep.

A little apartment with everything.

We enjoyed the stay at this apartment. Good parking. We used the washer and hung the clothes out in the Portugese air, smelled great ! ...thank you. Very comfortable and a good spot to go sightseeing.

A great winter break in the sun

The apartment was perfect for us with everything we needed. We loved the location as we were in a very quiet area, but we were conveniently placed for coastal walks, restaurants, supermarket. We enjoyed trips to Alvor and Lagos, and some beautiful inland walking near Loule. The birdwatching at nearby Salgados Lagoon was exceptional. Communication with Lucien and Kristina was very easy and helpful.

We are very happy about our stay in Lucien and Katrina’s villa. The villa was very clean, bright and airy with many windows and great views of the ocean. It was very updated with all necessary appliances and conveniences. The villa and surrounding resort community were quiet with easy access to included facilities such as pools, beach and a great restaurant where we ate most of our meals. An amazing walking trail along the cliff tops with breathtaking views was a few minute walk from the villa. We are very pleased with our stay here and if we come to the Algarve again would definitely stay here.

A very pleasant and happy stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Vila Senhora da Rocha in late July/early August.. The flat, which is the top floor of a villa, is very pleasant and well equipped. The villa is well maintained and cared for. There is a beautiful view to the sea from the windows of the sitting room and bedroom. The view is also over the grounds, which are beautifully maintained and there are lovely, vibrant shrubs and flowers everywhere which stand out against the traditional white of the villas. There is a short walk to the swimming pools and the beach. The large pool is salt water which makes it very pleasant to swim in. The beach is scenically beautiful and the swimming is safe, with the usual care. There are steep steps down to the beach. The site is served by a small supermarket which sells excellent fresh bread and pastries, as well as essential food and household products. There is also a cafe/restaurant by the pools.There are excellent restaurants locally, and large supermarkets.. There are many other beaches at easy reach, and beautiful sea trips are available to see the sea caves and look for dolphins.. (We were lucky and saw many of them at close range.) There is an outstanding pottery at Porches and many other pleasant trips are available. We had a delightful and relaxing holiday and can warmly recommend this as a holiday destination. Thank you Lucien for all your support and excellent communication!

Traumurlaub an der Algarve

Wir waren erholungsbedürftig und konnten in den beiden Wochen unsere Akkus wieder aufladen: Sonne, Strand, Wind und die atemberaubende Felsenlandschaft. Die Unterkunft war ruhig, gepflegt, ideal gelegen mit Schwimmmöglichkeit in den Pools oder im Meer. von Porches aus waren etliche Sehenswürdigkeiten in Tagesausflügen erreichbar. Leider haben wir längst noch nicht alles gesehen - wir müssen wiederkommen!

die Wohnung ist sehr gut , sehr sauber , komplett ausgestattet , es hat an nichts gefehlt und der Vermieter war immer zur Hilfe bereit. die Umgebung in der Anlage ist ruhig , hat direkten Zugang zu einem schönen Strand . Excellent accommodation on beautiful, spacious site

The apartment is lovely, very well equipped with comfortable beds and everything you could possibly need for a holiday. The site is beautiful with very spacious grounds, well maintained with lots of birds. There is both an indoor/covered pool that was heated to a pleasant temperature and a large outdoor pool, 25m in length. It is little more than 5 minutes walk to the beach, which was lovely and never crowded. Site security is good, with electronic cards to get into the pool area and also to prevent people walking through the site to or from the beach. The information provided by the owner was very comprehensive and helpful. We would strongly recommend this apartment and expect to go back there ourselves.

Un petit paradis ...

Location très propre et très agréable (lumineuse, bien équipée), à 5 minutes à pieds des piscines (il y en a une chauffée, ce qui est un plus à la saison froide) et guère plus de la très belle plage. Tout est pensé pour passer un super séjour, il ne manque rien. Les propriétaires sont très disponibles et sympathiques (ils ont même investis dans un siège auto car le prix de la location d'un siège avec la voiture étant exorbitant, nous voulions en acheter un sur place!). Le ménage en fin de semaine ainsi que le changement des serviettes est très appréciable. La position géographique permet de rayonner aussi bien vers l'est que l'ouest sans faire trop de kilomètres. Bref, nous recommandons !!

Quelle agréable location !

Nous avons passé deux semaines magnifiques dans cet villa de la résidence da Senhora da Rocha. L'appartement est calme, très bien équipé, rien ne manque, en particulier si vous aimez cuisiner, vous serez étonné de tout ce qui est mis à votre disposition dans la cuisine, parfait pour déguster les délicieux poissons frais du marché ou se faire un jus des délicieuses oranges locales. La literie est confortable, la pièce de vie très lumineuse et la terrasse sans aucun vis-à-vis pour prendre ses repas ou se prélasser. La connexion Wifi est excellente. la résidence est fleurie, bien entretenue et bien agencée, chacun a son espace et son intimité. L'accès direct à la plage est très appréciable, d'autant plus que c'est une belle plage agréable, dont nous avons profité tous les jours. Si on le souhaite on peut (je vous le conseille), en partant de la résidence, faire une randonnée jusqu'à la plage Marinha et la grotte de Benagil. Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer les propriétaires qui étaient sur place dans une autre villa lors de notre séjour, qui sont des personnes charmantes et très attentionnées. Le premier jour nous avons signalé par SMS que le grille-pain ne marchait pas, 20 mn plus tard ils nous en apportaient un nouveau :-) En amont du séjour, ils nous ont communiqué beaucoup d'informations et de conseils et ont été très réactifs dans l'échange de mail. Un grand Merci à eux. Je pense que nous reviendrons :-)

Nous avons trouvé le calme recherché

Nous recherchions un appartement au calme avec toutes les commodités et nous l'avons trouvé. L'appartement est bien aménagé, propre et confortable. Malgré que le propriétaire ne soit pas sur place, il a toujours été disponible pour nous répondre rapidement. A notre arrivé, un cartable avec toutes les informations nécessaires sur les appareils, l'appartement et les alentours nous a été fort utile. La terrasse offre une intimité que nous recherchions: pas de vis-à-vis et pas de voisin au-dessus. Le wifi a très bien fonctionné. Le matin, nous allions a la petite supérette de la résidence pour aller chercher nos croissants. Dans l'appartement, nous étions contents de trouver un extracteur à jus pour se faire des jus d'orange frais de l'Algarve au petit déjeuner. Sur le site, il y a 3 piscines et suffisamment de transat (nous étions en septembre). Il n'y a pas de stationnement assigné, mais n'avons jamais eu de problème pour nous garer. Nous avons adoré notre expérience et recommandons vivement cet appartement.

2 semaines incroyables

Nous avons passé 2 semaines fantastiques dans cette villa de Senhora da Rocha. L'emplacement est idéal, avec son accès direct à la plage (une des plus belles et des plus paisibles que nous ayons expérimentés durant le séjour), et à 2 pas du centre ville d'Armacao de Pera. A l'intérieur de la villa tout est présent pour passer un séjour sans tracas : cuisine équipée, terrasse et barbecue privatifs, climatisation dans les pièces de vie... La résidence, les espaces verts et les piscines sont parfaitement entretenus par un personnel ouvert et à l'écoute. Un grand merci au propriétaire qui nous a grandement simplifié la tâche avec toutes les informations communiquées avant le séjour, aussi bien sur la villa que sur les attractions de la région. A recommander les yeux fermés...

Schöne Anlage, aber Wohnung sehr verwohnt und lieblos

das Postive: sehr nette Rezeption, mehr als genug Geschirr, sehr sauberes Bad, sehr ruhig, sehr schöne Umgebung, nette sichere Anlage. beheizter Pool war toll. das Negative: es fehlten die Details, um sich dort wirklich wohl zu fühlen. das Sofa samt Kissen war sehr schmuddelig, und die Kissen hatten Essensgerüche. die Liegen auf dem MINI Balkon waren nicht zu verstellen, so dass es nicht wirklich gemütlich war. Mit zwei Liegen und einem Tisch und zwei Stühle auf dem Balkon war es war sehr eng und man kann sich kaum bewegen . es gab nur ein Schrank für zwei Personen für 10 Tage: die anderen waren abgeschlossen. der Herd war so abgenutzt; dass der Backofen nicht richtig heiß wurde und es taten nur 2 Kochstellen. wir würden auch empfehlen, eigene Handtücher mitzubringen. die Handtücher waren recht dünn und abgenutzt. Es war für den Preis in Ordnung, und wenn man sich im Sommer nur draussen aufhält, mag es ausreichen, aber für uns im März war es nicht gemütlich und sauber genug.
