Nice villa in a good location, near bars and restaurants
Villa Rocha is a spacious villa with a well equipped kitchen with lots of crockery and cutlery. Everything in the kitchen worked well. The lounge area could be improved, the TV claims to have English channels, but we could only find 2, one of which was for kids. No Netflix or similar available. Normally we would not have been interested in TV, however it was cool at night so a little TV would have been nice. We could not get the stereo to work. Three of the four bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms plus a family shower room for the fourth bedroom. All of the bath mats were extremely slippery on the tiled bathroom floors, stepping out of the shower was risky. The bed frame in the main bedroom is very creaky and could not be used. The other beds are all single and are very firm, but do not creak.
Washing and drying facilities are very good.
The outside area is very pleasant and private with lots of shade and plenty of sun beds. Some of the sun beds need to be replaced, as the covers are loose on the frames and do not offer enough support. The outside barbeque was OK, but could have been cleaner.
There are 3 nice restaurants and a mini market within 2 minutes walk. Other restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
