Wonderful place!

This place was perfect for our 11-night stay in Maui! Our family of 5 fit well; the upstairs bedroom was great! Plenty of room for the kids. The master had plenty of room, too. Air conditioning throughout with a splits, so it was very comfortable even though it was screaming hot outside. The kitchen could use some new and bigger pans/pots, but that's a minor point. We cooked a bit in the kitchen and the stove and oven were very nice. The dining table was beautiful, but the benches were unstable if the weight on them wasn't centered. The check-in process was seamless, and the house was extremely well-appointed. There were beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys, snorkeling gear, and even a grill with appropriate utensils and grilling baskets. We wanted to stay longer. None of us were ready to leave. A wonderful place for a Maui base. Lahaina is a great town, too, and they are trying to rebuild after the 2023 fires. Lots to do in the area!

Great Place-Property as listed

Loved our stay in Lahaina. The property managers were so gracious and happy to have guests back after fire and wanted us to let them know what might be needed. They were great about taking care of the few things we found. Reading some of the previous previews from before - wanted to say, there is a flashlight in closet, 4 beach chairs, 2 recliners (anti-gravity) 3 boogie boards, cooler...all of which we enjoyed. the pool was just a few houses down and very comfortable and relaxing. Really enjoyed in the morning and evening going down a short walk to shoreline and watching the waves and whales. Take you binoculars! So fun!!Enjoyed eating at the Aloha Plate in Lahiana-great food and prices decent. We actually stopped at Costco and picked up food so ate at the property most days. Great Weber grill and the kitchen was very well stocked. As far a condements there was salt and pepper. Also enjoyed the panini grill-worked great!Would recommend a fan in the guest bathroom as it does get pretty humid in there after a shower. Overall tho the bathrooms were very nice. Adequate counter space, very roomy shower with great water pressure. The hardest thing for us was not having a bathroom upstairs. The upstairs was very nice and roomy, watch out for corners tho! :) However we are all in our 70's and so I think that is more of an issure for us at night then for a family or younger couples. Great place to enjoy Hawaii and have quiet and have some R & R

We had everything we needed (boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear). However one of the beach chairs strap was torn but was still useable. If going to restaurants, you have to drive as the only open places are only by the local Safeway. Otherwise we had a fantastic and relaxing time.

A little bit of paradise

I feel like we used all the things that were there to make the experience great like the beach towels and boogie boards. The sunsets were beautiful and there was plenty of shopping, eating, and groceries close. We enjoyed mornings on the back patio before heading out for the day. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Family vacation

Had a great stay with our daughters! House was in a great location for surfing and boogie boarding at the beach by the house and just a few minutes from Lahaina. The house was clean and updated and had everything we needed.

The property was in a perfect location for us and what we planned to do. Everything was provided for us and more; owners provided beach gear and all amenities that were needed for our stay was there. I would definitely stay at this vacation home again! Thank you for the hospitality!

Great location in beautiful spot!

This is a great newly renovated property! The loft comfortably sleeps 4 with plenty of extra space. Master is nice and big and private from rest of the space. We loved walking down to the pool area in the evening and look at the whales breaching right in front of us. An incredible beautiful spot, we look forward to visiting again someday!

Great vacation

We stayed a week in Maui and we really enjoyed our rental. Everything is as shown on the pictures. We loved the backyard for our early breakfasts or late diners. This place has everything you need including boards, umbrellas and chairs for the beach. The community is very nice with tennis courts, direct access to the beach and several swimming pools. It was very quiet and relaxing. Would rent again if I come back to Maui

Perfect larger family vacay property

87-1 couldn’t be more of a perfect vacation rental. The condo was well stocked with all the comforts of home and accommodated my family of 5. The front lanai is very peaceful as well as the back lanais which includes a bbq outdoor shower and all the beach toys surf boards, chairs ice chests, everything a family would need for a day at the beach. The gated community is well kept with three pools and access to the ocean. Mahalo for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home we all could feel the love your family has put into your little peace of paradise.

Best stay EVER!

We really really loved this place. Thank you so much! The location is good and the house was lovely! It was comfy for the all 5 of us, my children loved the board games and wanted to stay at home the whole time. Everything was clean and well equipped and NEW! I loved the samsung washing machine and dryer. Everything we needed were already there including beach chairs and tubes and body boards. Beddings were great and they had extra blankets in closets. We want to come back to MAUI just to stay here!

What a gem!

The condo is nestled in a quiet and clean community - with two access points to the beach. In addition, it's only a mile from front street which provides the option to be close to the action of the little town, but far away enough to feel the peace of paradise. We loved the location! In traveling with our three young daughters (12, 9 and 6), it was great to have plenty of lawn for them to play catch and run around on at the end of the day! There were also several pools that our girls loved too. The condo itself was clean, updated and had incredibly comfortable beds. The washer/dryer in the unit was an added bonus. Upon our next return to Maui, we'll definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cozy and well-equipped, this little home was the perfect landing spot for our family of 4 adults to spend 5 days. Lots of space with recent renovation and comfortable beds. The home is not Oceanside but is a short 5 minute walk through a really beautiful and quiet gated community. Location could not be beat - a few minutes drive from Lahaina and Front street activities, but just removed enough that you get peace and quiet at night. Note that both bathrooms are downstairs while multiple beds are upstairs, so be aware in case members of your party has mobility issues. House was stocked with kitchen supplies of all kinds, and basic cooking ingredients like salt, pepper, cooking oil. All appliances worked great.We were extremely pleased with the prompt communications and detailed instructions from the hosts. Questions were answered via text almost immediately. We loved our home here and can’t wait to return!

Comfortable Home in Beautiful Property

Our family stayed here for a week vacation - we had our 2 teens and their 2 friends with us. The house was great for our group. It appears to have been recently updated and was very clean. The primary bedroom on the main level was spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The kids all slept in the upstairs area, which also has its own couch - very comfy for them. The AC works well. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware for making complete meals, including baking dishes (which not all rentals have). This home is within a gated community that is really beautiful and very safe. We loved the pool located right at the ocean. At night, you can float listening to the ocean waves and look up at the Milky Way. The property is located fairly close to the main tourist area of Lahaina, perhaps a 15 min walk to the park with the old Banyan Tree. We had a rental car which was nice for grocery runs and exploring other areas of Maui. The friendly management company was very communicative and responsive. We received messages prior to our stay to give us all needed info for arrival, they made sure all was well during our stay and were even helpful when we needed an urgent care doctor for an injury. We highly recommend this home and property and would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Vacation

87-1 Pualei Drive is a perfect vacation rental. The front and back lanai have plenty of seating and shoe racks. The back lanai has an outdoor shower to clean snorkeling equipment and rinse beach sand. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, baking, and dining needs. Appliances are top-of-the-line with an oven that is both convection and conventional. We took advantage of this well-appointed kitchen to cook locally caught fish. Love the bedrooms!! Lots of pillows, crisp sheets. The windows have blackout blinds for those who are late risers or for an afternoon nap. The bathrooms are very clean, supplied with thick fluffy towels. The water pressure in the showers is guaranteed to remove the most stubborn beach sand. As for those sandy bathing suits, the full-size washer/dryer is convenient. The Puamana grounds and common areas are beautifully maintained with a plethora of exotic flowers in a riot of colors. The clubhouse is the perfect location to watch the sunset over the island of Lanai. So, grab your favorite snacks and liquid libation and head over to the club house. Besides the beach, there are 3 pools for swimming or sun worshiping. Snorkeling is great in the water next to the property. It is like swimming inside an aquarium of colorful fish. The reefs around Maui are a must, so buy that special reef sunscreen that does not harm fragile reefs. The Internet is super-fast so you can stream all your favorite shows or watch them on the big screen TVs. Also, there are a large rolling cooler and boogie boards for taking to the beach. The property is in a gated community with guards watching the property and ready to help with any problems. The main clubhouse is stunning next to the water with a large patio area and table, where you can take your meals, or just sit and enjoy the fantastic view and the sunsets. We cannot wait to return…
