“We had a wonderful stay at the property in Libertyville. It was close to everything we needed (Naval Base, Mall/Shopping, and plenty of Restaurants/Food options)! We were even able to walk to the coffee shop on the main strip a few times. Thank you to the host for being in contact consistently and checking in. We appreciated all your hard efforts.”

“We stayed for 4 nights. When we arrived, there was a water leak from a ceiling window and a gap that allowed rain and snow inside. The leak and window were fixed right away, which we appreciated, but we still experienced a very loud, constant noise from the vent above the stove that kept us up, and maintenance said nothing could be done. Only 1 of the 4 stovetops worked, which was not resolved.The positives were the free and easy parking, convenient location, and simple, hassle-free check-in and……

“We wish negative stars were an option—this review is worth the 2,500 refund we were denied. Our family traveled from across the country for our sailor’s graduation and were excited to stay here, but immediately felt uneasy. The space was much smaller than expected, and we discovered a separate back house not clearly described in the listing, which wasn’t ideal with young kids. The property was dirty, smelled musty, and quickly became unsafe.The main house had windows painted shut (a fire hazard)……

“Please note this is a newer rental that had some growing pains. The property manager was quick to respond. However it is important to note that there are window units only so main areas become quite warm during summer months and windows do not all have screens.”

“The home was clean with considerate touches like a variety of sesonings to cook with and coffee creamers to go with the Keureg coffee maker. The neighborhood is in a very convenient location near shopping and offers safe and quiet stay.A note for elderly guests that may be looking to rent, however, the bathroom is on the second floor. The trip up and down the stairs may be difficult for some.All in all, we would rent again if our travels bring us back to the area.”
