“We had a wonderful stay at the property in Libertyville. It was close to everything we needed (Naval Base, Mall/Shopping, and plenty of Restaurants/Food options)! “The place was nice and in a nice location. It had all the amenities you could really need, it was clean and the beds were pretty comfy. Parking was a little iffy but not too bad. The only complaint is that it's a two story and the top floor can be rented by someone else. The building is old and the floors are very creaky and if someone rents the place above you it can be very very noisy. The place is off a main road and one of the bedrooms is next to that road and it can get noisy as well. Other……

“I really liked the space. Although I only traveled with 2 people, I was able to accommodate 8 family members overnight easily and could’ve slept probably 10. The location was great as well. Most places I visited in Lake County were under 30 minute drive. Gurnee, Round Lake, Zion. Non of the rooms have TV’s or bathrooms. There are two TVs in the house though and two bathrooms. There is a second suite attached to the garage with two rooms, living room and a bathroom. There’s a heater in one room……

“Great communication! There was an unfortunate issue with the first unit and they were able to pivot and have us in a new unit very close by within about 45 minutes of our arrival! The area is nice enough, but within a little over 2 hours of our arrival we heard sirens 6 times. We were really starting to question what we'd gotten ourselves into, but it was quite late so we decided to risk it and regroup in the morning. Turns out there's a hospital about 1/2 mile down the street. ”

“Nice and clean place. Great communication with owners. They fixed issues immediately. So it is above a BAR. So not QUIET. If you go to bed early not for you. There are 23 stairs going up to the place so if have trouble with stairs also would not recommend it. It is 1 1/2 baths so if need 2 or more showers then take a pass, plus the half bath is back in a bedroom so have to disturb someone to use it. Twin beds are more of kid size or short person size. If need a place to sleep 6 and have fun then……

“Cozy home well located near downtown Libertyville. Beds were very comfortable. Property has a nice gas stove and good Keurig coffee maker. Excellent place to stay for families especially those attending Great Lakes US Navy Bootcamp graduation. ”

A beautiful quiet street and walking distance to Downtown Libertyville which has everything from coffee shops, The Rose Garden and plenty of restaurants. The VRBO host had great communication. ”

“Horrible two story apt. First it’s in an unsafe neighborhood right on a main road. It’s got 2 flights of stairs that are very steep, Rooms are so hot due to poor insulation. Added window units still don’t keep it cool. The property is shared, parking is in an unsafe alley way with no view of vehicle from apt. This is not handicap a”
