Lakeside Cottage Just Off Snowmobile/ATV Trail!

Are you looking for the perfect outdoor escape? You've just found it! Our recently renovated cottage is the perfect Upper Peninsula location to enjoy the lake in the summer, snowmobile/ski in the winter, admire the fall foliage, or UTV/ATV in the spring/summer/fall! We have sufficient parking for any snowmobile/boat trailers.

Our lakeside cottage sits approximately 6 miles from Lake Linden where there are numerous restaurants, as well as a grocery store and gas available. Just a mile past the cottage on Bootjack Rd, you'll find Dreamland Bar & Restaurant, a local favorite! This cottage is a perfect base to explore all the Keweenaw Peninsula has to offer including Houghton, Copper Harbor, Eagle Harbor, and more!

For those interested in snowmobiling, you can access the groomed Dreamland (Valley Snow Drifters) Club trail via Chipmunk Trail, a seasonal road just across the street from the cottage. This club trail connects to Trail 3 in Dollar Bay and Trail 122 in Lake Linden.

For those interested in UTV/ATV, you can access Trail 3 by driving your UTV/ATV 6 miles down Bootjack Road to Lake Linden.

In the summer, take advantage of Portage Lake (which connects to Lake Superior and Torch Lake) with a small beach right outside the home. A boat dock, kayaks, and a paddle boat are also available upon request.

Perfect place to get a good night sleep after playing and visiting the area sights, clean, everything we needed was provided, I have to mention a larger hot water tank might be nice so 4 people could shower instead of one, a smaller shower head could help to, I love the large shower head but it could explain why only one person got a hot shower. Sorry, to mention it even but it’s the only part of our very enjoyable stay that we would tweak, everything else was perfect and the morning view of the lake is just heavenly see fall photos. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, I would recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful location

Had a relaxing time at this lake house. Clean, comfy 2 bedroom right on Lake Linden. Good central location to Houghton (20 minutes) and Copper Harbor. Would stay here again.

Five star yard three star cabin. Fat people beware. This place is SMALL. Good luck in the shower, it also kept going cold so I think there might have been something wrong with the water heater. Big bed is small, on wheels, and broken. Curtains are see through so you are up first thing with the sun. Would really appreciate a few more things in the kitchen. One pot and no ice tray?! The charm is in the location. Yard is PHENOMENAL with lake access, amazing fishing, good neighbors and close to everything you could possibly do in the Keweenaw. Dreamland is delicious and charming. Cameras everywhere (not a bad thing just a warning to those who are afraid of being watched). I would stay again just for the yard but with less people. This barely fit the five of us.

Great Cabin

Cabin was very nice. Lake offers great views of the sunset. Beach area is sandy and nice. Lake itself was very good, shallow and sandy good for swimming. Access to the dock/pier was a huge bonus! Would stay here again if in the area.

A cute little cottage

This is a cute little cottage with two rooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room. The deck on the cottage has views of the lake. It was easy to find and easy to check in. The family who owns the rental is amazing and I would definitely rent from them again. Thank you for a great stay!

Cute and Peaceful

The property description is accurate. The kitchen is fairly well stocked, and the beds were comfy. We were able to get out on the lake in the kayak and also enjoyed the view from the cottage. Would stay here again.
