With plenty of room for families and groups, this retreat offers both peaceful privacy and convenient access to Lake Lure’s top attractions. Top amenities include: Fire pit with mountain backdrop, grill for outdoor cooking, desk + chair for remote work, family- & kid-friendly layout, large TVs with streaming from your favorite apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.) or cast from your phone, and expansive windows with panoramic views Situated in the heart of Lake Lure, you’ll be close to: Chimney Rock, Asheville, Hendersonville, restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. Perfect for golfers, families, couples, and adventurers exploring Western North Carolina! Located within the Rumbling Bald Resort. RESORT AMENITIES Rumbling Bald Resort amenities include a heated pool (open year round) 2 outdoor pools and lazy river (open Memorial Day to Labor Day) hot tub, spa and wellness center, mini golf, basketball and tennis courts, corn hole, horse shoes, lawn games, playground. 2 world class golf courses (Apple Valley and Bald Mountain). 3 Dining options (Legends on the Lake, The Gardens, Bears Cup Cafe, Eagles Nest).
    Things to Know
  • **Lake Lure is scheduled to reopen for full operations on May 25, 2026 with the return of boating, swimming and fishing. Be sure to reserve your spot before dates are taken. We look forward to your visit and your continued support to the local community.**
  • Streaming services are available, but guests must log in using their accounts.
  • Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
  • Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
  • All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  • No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
  • All properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.
    • RUMBLING BALD GUEST PASSES Guest Passes needed to use resort amenities will be at the rental property. Please be sure to leave passes upon departure to avoid a $50 pass replacement charge.
