A Slice of Mountain Magic

Bearly A View? More like we barely wanted to leave! The pool table and gaming area brought out our competitive sides, the hot tub melted all our stress away, the beds were like sleeping on clouds, and don’t get me started on the kitchen—it’s the best I’ve ever cooked in (and that’s saying a lot). Nights under the stars, tracing constellations, felt absolutely heavenly. We definitely want to stay again the next time we're in the area.

Awesome Family Trip House

This house was perfect for us (3 adults, 4 kids, +1 Grandma) Kitchen, dining, and living areas were clean and well stocked. Everything was as advertised. Hot tub and pool table were great in the evenings after the kids went to be. We had a great time and the location was reasonable for 1-1.5 hour drive day trips to Asheville, DuPont, Chimney Rock, Hendersonville, etc. Everyone had a blast. So many great memories for our family.

Nice roomy place to vacation

Spent the week at Bearly A view and truly enjoyed our visit. This cabin is the best supplied vacation rental we’ve stayed at. We were in need of really nothing. Kitchen well equipped with quality items. Towels and bedding were top notch. TVs and internet worked well. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Small lake within a couple minutes drive to swim or fish. The community is gated. Nice and secure.

Reviewer Comments: We rented this spot for a board of elders retreat in September 2023, but due to a sudden illness of one of the members, we needed to reschedule. The management company was extremely accommodating in our request. The check-in instructions were very clear, and they led us to the right gate to access this gated community. We arrived to a gorgeous and spotless property. The cleaning crew did a top-notch job! Even the hot tub was perfect! We loved the different areas to hang out and enjoyed playing pool, using one of the three fire pits and sitting on the porch. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were new. Lots of nature abound. We even saw a bear at the lower part of the driveway!As advertised, this home does have many steps, and we had an issue with one car making it up the very steep driveway. (Dry and sunny conditions.) I would definitely recommend an SUV with 4-wheel drive. Prepare for your car to get filthy with the material used for the roads in the neighborhood. We ended up just parking a car at the entrance gate instead of at the house. Our only suggestion would be for the owners to tidy up the kitchen a bit. There is no storage for pantry items, and the kitchen cabinets are stuffed with odds and ends that could be pared down to make space for food so that it doesn't have to be piled on the counters.

This is a semi secluded and private mountain community with lots of amenities. The house is spacious, well stocked with games and kitchen items. Each level has its own heat/AC thermostat so the house is very comfortable but we spent most of our time enjoying the screen porch. The master rainfall walk-in shower adds a nice touch of luxury. Close to several golf courses and good places to eat.Close access to several golf courses
