“Our stay was incredible. We were met by Kim when we arrived to check in and she was amazing. We upgraded our room, got extremely helpful advice and tips. We loved loved loved the warm chocolate chip cookies and had a great chat after supper sitting by the fire in the lounge. Kim gave us great information about the hotel and its family history, as well as some fun stories about hosting the hockey kids who come to play in town. “The place is super clean and all new! It has two beds, a big TV on the wall, and a nice bathroom. The setup is minimal — no microwave, fridge, table, or chairs. A tiny investment in a small coffee table and basic coffeemaker would make a huge difference, especially since the restaurant opens only at 5 pm. Having fresh coffee in the morning would be really nice. The coffee at the restaurant is excellent, and the staff are very friendly.”

I am sensitive to noise, the front desk manager met my concern promptly and moved us to a quiet room at the end of the corridor.
