"The pool had a lot of maintenance going on. We could still use it but there was a jackhammer being used while we were in there.
The staff was amazing the room was clean. Rooms have frig but no microwave. Did use the one in the lobby but was very dirty."
"Check in was satisfactory. There’s a $50 deposit even when you pay at booking. The location is great right off 28th Street which is the main road through Grand Rapids. There’s no carpet on the floors in the rooms which is a requirement for me. I’d recommend removing the fabric office chair and sofa and replacing with leather type cover. The room was mostly clean. It was refreshed vs fully cleaned the other days. Staff were friendly and attentive. Continental breakfast provided with addition of waffle maker. Waffle batter was sour the one day I made them on this visit but excellent throughout previous stay. Coffee was not piping hot may need a machine for it or different storage vessel. Juice machine was out of service but there was a pitcher of OJ provided in the cooler. Overall experience was good. There were several sporting events in town this weekend so lodging was scarce."

"We checked in around 10pm. When we went to our room, it was a dirty room. The woman at the desk was very apologetic but mentioned they were sold out. She contacted her manager via text ( would have appreciated a phone call to speed up the process rather than a text ). But after standing at the desk for a long time, a room became available somehow. After getting to the room there were no blankets for the pull out couch, again had to go back down to get blankets. The following day I called the front desk and explained the issues with check in last night and asked for a late check out of 1pm as some sort of compensation and the women told me I would have to pay $50 to get that approved. Seemed crazy considering the hassle we went through during check in.
Other than that, it was a nice stay."
"My family and I stayed here for a basketball tournament and were very pleased with how clean the rooms and surrounding areas inside the hotel were. Staff were nice. You always see someone cleaning. It smelled so fresh. Will book again."
"The people at the front desk were very very kind! The breakfast was not the best but the lady making it was very sweet. Our room was not super clean when we first arrived granted we arrive before 3pm check in. So they were so kind a switches us to a new room. Overall it was good for the price and area. "
