“Very spacious hotel with plenty of lounges to relax in. I would recommend keeping lounge TVs on a weather station or something calming instead of a news station. I appreciated the fitness room and the ability to relax with a mixed drink in the evening. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.”

“Moderately well kept. Room could not be cooled. Bed was terrible!!! Bed too soft and was sunken in. Water has a large amount of softeners. So much that soap would not wash off hands and hair in shower. The area is somewhat run down. Dark hallways that could use updating. Choose something more cheerful and pleasant.”

“Very helpful communication with Natasha regarding our arrival time and progress during our road trip, and very welcoming when we arrived after a long day of driving. Outstanding spotless and clean room! Delicious breakfast served at 9 o'clock, and a very accommodating and nourishing "to-go" breakfasts prepared for us on the road as we had over 550 miles to drive the following day, Woodstock is a definite stay if we pass through in the future!”

“This was our first time staying at Walnut Waters. It was an absolute pleasure to meet the owners and stay at such a relaxing and well-appointed venue. One of the best experiences was enjoying the beautiful scenery while relaxing on the pond. ”

“Overall good experience. The front desk did not communicate when rooms would be cleaned, which was not daily. Did get new towels daily. Staff friendly and helpful. Would rebook at this property.”

“The pictures advertised here are not at all what the hotel looks like. The women staff even confirmed the room is NOT one they offer and was very rude about it when asking for a refund to accommodate us better elsewhere. Was denied the refund. After hours and 4 chats later with Expedia we got a credit for the room.”

“Within 20 minutes of Royals Stadium. Clean but no frills. Close to the interstate. Within a 10 minute drive several restaurants and shopping.”

“The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good. The beds were a little hard for me. Really enjoyed the outside pool.”

“I am shocked at how high of stars this hotel had when it is average at best. The hotel is a whole complex which was difficult to navigate and even find the hotel. It is on a beautiful property, but the beds feel like you’re laying on cheap plastic and the breakfast is disappointing. (No waffle maker, which is always what I’m looking for at hotel breakfast). Overall it was a fine overnight but certainly does not deserve the excellent rating listed. Okay at best”

“Older building with old amenities. Operational, just not exceptional. Breakfast was really good. There was plenty right up to the end of breakfast.”
