“The rooms were clean and nice, well appointed. Overall the stay was good. But the host did not seem to want to communicate via the VRBO messaging system, instead emailing and texting. There was also a Linen rental fee (sheets and towels), and a deposit asked of us through email that was not disclosed in the listing. In fact, in the listing it states there are no additional fees.”

“The place is a charming and cozy bungalow on a double wide lot with a walkout basement. 3+1 bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one up, one downstairs. I would guess it was built in the 50's or 60's and recently renovated while preserving the heritage. It has a well equipped kitchen with lots of counter space and all the appliances and gadgets you might expect including a dishwasher, plus a large propane BBQ and an outdoor fireplace with a cast iron grill. Two big TVs, one up, one downstairs. Washer……

“We had a lovely stay here but it’s bit small for two families (total of 6 people, including 2 children). There wasn’t any shelves or wardrobes to put our clothes so we had to keep them in the living room in our suitcases as the bedrooms could only fit the bed. Also the AC is only in the living space, not the bedrooms so it got hot in our rooms at night.The house is on a quiet street close to the beach and newly renovated. We had a nice stay but it would have been nice to know the two points I……

“My favourite things about this cottage: great location, great beach and sunsets...you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Great for kids and dogs to run free. The cottage is roomy. Bonus is having the loft area for the kids to play away from grownups. Unfortunately, we didn't swim as it was too cool but it didn't stop us from spending hours on the beach. “This place is perfect for a summer vacation, located near the beach & in the forest. Very quiet & convenient. We enjoyed a bonfire in the darkness & sauna in a cool evening. ”

“The house was warm & inviting when we arrived as we did Xmas in the house. Plenty of private space for 3 small families. House had fireplaces to take the dampness out. A lovely tree was assembled. Hot tub was a treat for all of us while watching a colorful sunset. Hosts were very helpful & accommodating. Could not have been a better place for our needs! Even a winter bar que! ”
