「I had a wonderful nights stay in a king size bed in an extremely quiet farm away from normal life. There was a good view of the splendid fireworks from the Summer ball down in Tavistock that night, then waking up to a lovely cooked breakfast. The couple were very helpful throughout and I will book again. Don't expect modern day living just homely comfort and a great view of the countryside on a working farm.」

「What a lovely place and very wonderful view. Breakfast was amazing and the hospitality is overwhelming. We were a family of four from London and the room was spacious and comfortable. We are really happy with the service. We do recommend this place for anyone who would like a quiet and peaceful getaway from city life.」

「Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay 」

「Lovely room at the top of the property, no noise heard when we were there. Great facilities though the kettle sends to leak a bit and we had difficulty working the gousto machine (probably us rather than it. ) comfy bed and great shower in bathroom. Up lots of stairs but only had to do them once a day as we left and came in! 」
