「This quaint cottage was perfect for 2 couples. We loved being steps away from the beach and very close to all the amenities in St Ives. The property was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say is the parking spot is a distance away because of the old town. So anyone with mobility issues might consider that. There are cabs for hire if needs be. Would recommend, it was perfect for us.」

It is well located for the port towns and cliff tops of the Lizard Peninsula. 「We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. 」

「A beautiful property, fantastic location and great amenities.There was only one thing we were not happy about and that was the mattress on the smaller doubled bed, this really needs replacing, my daughter and son in-law found it to be very uncomfortable feeling all the springs and the bed frame. They did not get much sleep because of this.」
