「Love it when an old motel is updated while keeping some of the unique original features. The bathroom update was very well done. Comfy bed. Lots of space. Parking in the shared alcoves is difficult with a large vehicle if someone else is parked, but parking in front of your unit is an option. The original wood doors were awesome. The area around the hotel is a bit rough looking, but we didn’t feel unsafe. Street noise lessened as the night went on. 」

「Everything was very clean and the fenced-off yard with the Onu suite was perfect for our dog. The decor was absolutely lovely. The fireplace got plenty of use and we recommend buying piñon wood on Old Las Vegas Highway from one of the roadside vendors there (bring cash). We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The skylights are great during the day but the kitchen can be a bit dim at night.」
