Nice big cottage, be careful which route you take to get there in winter!
Cottage was lovely and very spacious. Water view was good from bedrooms but not so clear from living space. Kitchen and dining area had everything needed. Dining table was huge and nice. We had more sleeping space than needed (4 adults, 5 kids). I think it would be worth revisiting in summer! Do not take direct route from south in winter!! We tried and, about 30 mins down a very windy road, it suddenly stopped being plowed and we had to turn around. Overall, this was really nice. Host was very quick to respond and helpful.

Amazing stay
It’s the second time for us staying at this beautiful cottage, last time was 3 years ago, almost nothing has changed, still able to find the same little fun mugs and dvds like last time. This time we brought new friends and their family as their first cottage trip and they absolutely loved it. Very roomie and very well kept and clean, will come back again!!

Great Family Weekend
Beautiful spot by the water, very relaxing and quiet. Cottage is well equiped with everything you could possibly need, bedding and linens where top notch.Large open concept perfect for a large group. Lots of games and activities available outside. Not many places provide firewood for an enjoyable camp fire. Host could not be anymore accomodating. Highly Recommended

Our May 2023 GWA
Our girls' week away was another success! Since we were all coming from different parts of the country, we tried to find something where we could all meet without travel complications. White Lake was perfect and was quite accessible from Montreal, Toronto and Sault Ste. Marie! The cottage setting was lovely. We observed a variety of bird species, fish and wildlife - wonderful for the nature lover! Our hostess was prompt in replying to any questions and very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was quite comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen, central air conditioning, large bedrooms, a patio/deck, and a fire pit and a large dock for outdoor use. For the quiet boating enthusiasts, kayaking along the shoreline also brought its delights! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely book again!

Girls Get Away

The property was amazing. Just was we needed. We were in the area to watch our sons play in the Ontario Winter Games. A group of parents rented the house instead of staying in hotel rooms. The house was clean, cozy, great for a group of people not to mention it has a stocked pantry and items in the fridge that were at our disposal. We may have had more fun that the kids! Liz was great with communication too. Even though we live 17 hours away, we might come back!

Spacious, well-equipped and comfortable
We were a group of 10 friends who decided to catch up with each other for Christmas and booked this perfect place. Tbh, this place was the most equipped rentals I have ever booked. Liz is prepared to help you with anything and everything. House is stocked with basic essentials. Cleanliness and instructions were top notch. House has it own Lake access and view. We went in winter, but I believe it would be much more fun in Summer and Fall. But even in winter the place is 30 mins away from couple of ski mountains so that served our purpose. I would love to visit again and we definitely took away some amazing memories to cherish for life!

Great Vacation Again!
Thank you again for another lovely weekend away! My family and I (11 in total) had a great time together - indoors and out over a long weekend. We went for a hike, had a couple campfires, played sports in the backyard, went paddling, and played games indoors. Family meals were excellent around the large dining room table where there was space for all of us (with room to spare). This is a wonderful vacation home for large families!!! Thank you!

Great for families
This was our second time here. It was just as we remembered: clean, comfortable, lovely property, everything we needed was provided. There’s lots of room for a big family or other group. The view out the many large windows is fantastic, especially for being able to watch wildlife without disturbing them. Liz was a great host. We will be back!

Awesome & Fun-Filled Vacation Home!!!
My family had a wonderful getaway and loved this place. Wow - what a view and what excellent facilities and hospitality. We really appreciate the kindness in sharing this lake house and all the amenities that came with it. We had a great time in and on the water playing and paddling, hiking in the woods, sitting around the campfire, chatting on the dock, and playing in the backyard area. The kids loved climbing the boulders and running through the grass and leaves. We also had a great time indoors, where we could all sit around the same kitchen table (9 of us, with room for more), and in the family room chatting, reading, or watching some GREAT old school videos. And I can't forget the air hockey table and tunes in the basement. We had some fun dance and play times down there too. As we explored through the house when we first got there, I heard my little 6 year old nephew quietly say "this is awesome." Like the Mastercard commercials from years ago said - priceless. We had a very happy and memorable family vacation and we are already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you very much!

Great family getaway
My family and I were really impressed with this property. The location was fabulous, the bedding and towels made us feel like we were staying at a nice hotel rather than a cottage, and it was really spacious. We had everything we needed and Liz was very responsive and helpful whenever I had questions before or during our stay.

If you are looking for a relaxing getaway then this is the place for you. This is definitely the best equipped place I have ever stayed with all of the comforts of home. Enjoyed star gazing around the bonfire.

Cottage rental
This place was so lovely!! My husband is still telling all his friends about how nice this place was!! We stayed March 12-15. What a beautiful view out the windows, we saw deer on a couple of nights just beside the garage! Liz was easy to contact with and responded quickly!! I would recommend this place for anyone to stay at!! We really enjoyed our time!!

Thanks Liz for making the weekend so easy. The house was fully stocked with anything you can possibly need. The hot tub was fantastic and worth adding it to the rental. The rooms are lovely, the beds comfortable, and the view at sunset was magical. We have already booked to return.

Lake retreat with Irish family ☘️ ♥️
We enjoyed 3 amazing nights at this beautiful lake house retreat. The views are spectacular. The lake was warm and quiet area being located in the Bay Area. We slept 12 people comfortably and all slept extremely well! This property is clean and up kept, property manager is easily reachable. Highly recommend for family vacation!

Great cottage in a greater location
Elizabeth was very responsive and helpful throughout our rental process. The cottage was very nicely laid out and supplied. The outdoor areas ( there were several) had very nice outdoor furnishings and amenities. The waterfront was very private with a large deck , a table and umbrella combo which easily sat 6 adults. Elizabeth was very generous in supplying paper products, spices, tea and coffee. We will definitely return and have already shared this listing with other friends. Thanks Elizabeth!

Summer cottage by the lake gateway
Amazing property in front of the lake! The house is beautiful, very well equipped amd maintained. We had a great time using the kayaks, paddle board, fishing from the dock or just jumping into the lake! I would highly recommend it!

The house is in a great location to sit back and relax. The view from the dock and house are nice. The only thing was that the bottom of the lake is very mucky so swimming can be challenging. The use of the kayaks, paddlebaot,canoe, and boards was a lot of fun. The house is very well stocked. To unlock the house you have to juggle the key, which I called Elizabeth and she quickly advised us.

Amazing Cottage Retreat - Looking Forward to Next Stay
Rented this cottage for a small friend's reunion. Beautiful cottage and location was perfect. Incredibly spacious outdoors and indoors. Lake access steps away and several outdoor eating areas. The watercraft available to us were in great condition. We enjoyed hours on the lake. During periods of inclement weather, there was lots for entertainment options inside the cottage. Elizabeth was an amazing host. Readily available to communicate and support before and during our stay. All instructions were provided to us well before our stay. No hassle departure policy. Quick and easy to clean up. This cottage is perfect for summer or winter getaways. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Great Experience
Booked this cottage from Elizabeth. Booking process was painless, Elizabeth had all the information and the check in process laid out perfectly. Had no issues finding the cottage or accessing it. The cottage was extremely clean and had just about all the ammenities required to have a great stay. Boats and Kayaks available as well as a gorgeous patio by the water. Checking out process was well laid out as well. Furthermore, Elizabeth responded to all our messages and questions super quickly which was very reassuring with us. I would definitely rent this place again!
