Nice stay, nice location!

The hotel is not in the busy city area of Pantai Cenang but only 5 minutes walking from the first shops and restaurants. Also to the beach 5 minutes. The hotel is located next to a Malay and indian food court (Tomato Nasi Kandar: food is very very good there and fair prices). The host cared a lot about us having a pleasant stay. Even when Expedia.com didn't transfer our booking information to Tomato Hotel, and they didn't have any room available when we arrived, they took care of us and transferred us to another (really good) hotel for one night (transport even with their private car..). Nothing to complain about.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Room is great for the price. The only downside is the sink tap was broken and the blanket is undersized, you have to sacrifice either you head or your foot

Many restaurants situated near the hotel

We could'nt see the front view because the 1st floor window is blocked by a big advertisement board! At times the TV could not turn on

Great, everything is okie. The location: 5 minutes walk to pantaj cenang beach. The restaurant at ground of the hotel is quite ok. But don't buy others service here (like island hoping, motobike..., they are all expensive than outside). Bathroom and bedroom are clean and look good, but without view to street because of the banner of the restaurant outside the window). One more interesting support from hotel: I checked out late (~15h30) without any extra charge

Nettes Hotel in Strandnaehe

Das Tomato Hotel ist anscheinend komplett renoviert worden. Uns hat das Zimmer sehr gut gefallen, es war geraeumig und sauber. Hier und da gibt es sicherlich was zu bemaengeln, aber wir waren zufrieden. Einzigstes Manko: der Strand liegt ca. 12 min. Gehweg entfernt, hat uns aber nicht gestoert.
