Beautiful cottage in Laren
- Beautiful cottage with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Only 25 minutes from Amsterdam and Utrecht and in the heart of ‘het Gooi’ within walking distance of the center of Laren. The courage has a spacious living / dining room downstairs, a kitchen and a study room. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms. The cottage has its own and beautifully landscaped garden with various seating areas and (in summer) a barbecue.
The cottage was built in 1895 and is beautifully decorated while maintaining original details. At the beginning of the turn of the century the writer Louis Couperus lived on the domain for 2 years. There is fast WiFI available and in the living room you have access to a 55 "smart TV, including Sonos system. The kitchen is fully equipped and also has a Nespresso machine. The cottage is within walking distance of Laren, a beautiful green village in the center of Het Gooi. In Laren numerous luxury shops, restaurants, bars and the Singer Museum can be found. There are 3 Nest Protects (smoke / carbon monoxide detection) present in the house for your safety (in both bedrooms and in the living room).

The cottage was all that we hoped for and more. Located in private setting in a lovely area. It was very clean, the kitchen was well-equipped and overall the cottage was very comfortable. Communication with the host Marjan was clear and responses were prompt. We would definitely re-book this property if we find ourselves in the Amsterdam area again.

Such a lovely house to return to after our daily outings. It was perfect for the 4 of us, lots of space and equipped with everything you would need. We relaxed outside enjoying the lovely garden several times, not worrying about spitting rain because the area is covered and has heaters. We could walk into town and enjoyed most of the local restaurants. The town is very nice, and we felt extremely safe walking around.

Enchanting cottage with beautiful grounds in lovely Lauren. Wonderful to get aware from the crowds of Amsterdam. Everything was exceptional and the most comfortable beds ever. Our hosts were so great. I would come here again in a heartbeat.

Echt een heel mooi huis. Soms kom je ergens en dan waren de foto's toch mooier dan de realiteiten maar hier is het juist andersom. Echt een heerlijk huis met hele lekkere bedden. Hele mooi locatie vlakbij het centrum en toch een hele rustige straat. Wij komen zeker terug!

Exploring the Netherlands
We (3 retired adults) really liked the house right in the town of Lauren. It was close to the shops and restaurants and very convenient to travel to Amsterdam and also the surrounding area.we did all the classic visits in Amsterdam but also discovered gems just around the corner. The house is comfortable with 2 bathrooms and a smallish but adequate kitchen.

Fantastic stay in Laren, NL
We had a fantastic and memorable stay at this beautiful cottage in Laren. The place was spacious and offered ample room for two couples and could also fit more. The bathrooms are spotless and had wonderful amenities with two full ensuites for the main 2 bedrooms. No shortage of hot water and the showers were great. The beds are amazingly comfortable with cozy blankets and clean and bright sheets. The kitchen was very well equipped as was the liesure room. The views from all the windows were wonderful and the outside grounds and patio made for amazing pictures and backdrops. The communication with Marjan was probably the best experienced and she was prompt and courteous with all exchanges. This is a true gem in a gem of a village near Amsterdam. We would not hesitate at all to stay here again if the opportunity presents. Thank you for everything.

Fijne cottage in een schitterend dorp met alle winkels en fantastische restaurants op loopafstand.
Stille, groene omgeving. Ruime slaapkamers en elke slaapkamer is volledig van elkaar gescheiden dus voldoende privacy. Heerlijke tuin.
We hopen er weer terug te komen!

Mooie ligging, zeer vriendelijke ontvangst
mooi huis, maar moet nog verbeterd worden.
Eigenaars van goede wil, maar voor 4 volwassenen is er geen zitplaats.
Verschil tussen de slaapkamers erg groot, jammer. Bovendien moet er duidelijker aangegeven worden, dat de trappen moeilijk te beklimmen zijn, tenminste voor ons 70+.
We heeben een lijstje met aanbevelingen besproken en achter gelaten bij de eigenaar.
Bij problemen wordt er snel en adequaat gehandeld.
Verder is er, bijna, alles aanwezig.

Beautiful and quiet
Very nice stay at this property. The village is fantastic. Dealing with the owner was easy. Although they live just next door, the property offers lots of privacy with a private garden.. ideal for two couples with two master bedroom each with it’s own bathroom. approximatly 30 minutes from Amsterdam.
