Older motel (not a problem, just an observation, with some associated wear and tear), very convenient, excellent room with large beds, couch, desk and refrigerator. Walking distance to several restaurants.

Great Little Motel in the "little' Las Vegas

The Palomino is an older facility, but the rooms have been modernized and are quite clean and comfortable. I saw the high reviews, but still had some doubts. Don't. It is every bit as nice as the reviews say it is.

This motel was recently renovated. The renovations appeared to be DIY, but they didn't need to be well done for my wife and I to appreciate the updates. Our room was remarkably clean. Despite the motel being located along a busy and noisy road, and the fact there were a lot of blue collar and truck driver folks staying there while my wife and I were there, the room was incredibly quiet. Overall, I feel it is a great value.

Filthy and smelled

Maybe just bad luck but our room and stay was by far the worst we have had in the 6 weeks we've been touring the US. Our room was filthy in multiple ways as the pictures will show. Dried up loogie on the curtains, stains on both bed comforters, broken furniture, exhaust fan so filthy that it could almost walk away on its own, dirty doors and a couch I dare not sit on. Management/front desk knocked on our door at 11pm and woke us for whatever reason. Such a heavy accent, we couldn't even understand what he was saying. I almost came to the door in full Monty and throat chopped him but ignored it and went back to much needed sleep. Never could I recommend or return to this poor excuse for an accomodation. I'm being kind with a 2 star. This app would not allow to upload photos. See my google review for pics of what was described.

The hotel does not look like much from the outside, but my room was very large, clean and comfortable. It's near a noisy intersection, but it quieted down somewhat during the night. The hotel was definitely worth the price! I would stay there again.
