I have visited this hotel many times over the years and have referred friends and family here. This time I had a prepaid room at the end of a long day of travels and arrived late - called ahead to make sure they knew I was coming and room was held. I arrived at almost midnight to a room that was saturated with cigarette smoke. It had obviously been a smoking room that wasn’t stripped - it made me want to vomit to be in there. I called the front desk and was told the hotel was sold out and sorry. Do not stay in room 406 if you are a nonsmoker. Wanted to take a bath but found pubic hair and grit in the tub so opted out. Fortunately I had a small can of Lysol with me. Between that and the bathroom exhaust fan I made through the night. The horrible coffee on the way out was a bonus. So disappointed and no compensation offered. Sad.

Great staff at checkin and the room was great. Clean and updated. The breakfast was not good. Bacon was not real bacon. People were throwing it away. Toaster don’t work. Muffins were from fridge and stale.

When I checked in an asked if they had coffee early in morning because we had an early flight to Florida. They said yes /24 hours. 2:30 am I go down to lobby for coffee, one was empty and the other was ice cold

Carpets are worn, faucets leak, hvac is old and noisy, front desk staff unable or unwilling to provide a pillow for the hide a bed for my son. “We don’t have any extra pillows” is what I was told. A hotel without an extra pillow should tell you all you need to know.

We were sent to the 4th floor where outside of our room the ceiling must have had a leak and there was an awful smell and fans trying to dry the carpet. There was no hot water to shower in the morning. Awful experience

I was told there was a 24 hour airport shuttle but it does not start running until 6am, which is ridiculous since there are many flights (including mine) that leave at 6am or even earlier. So we had to move to another hotel (The Hilton Garden Inn which is also at the airport). The desk clerk at the Hampton told us we would not be charged but of course we were.

The property was unable to offer a travel crib and I heard varying stories ranging from "they're all being used because you didn't request early enough" to "we don't have any onsite". Found the property dirty throughout, from the public bathrooms, eating areas, and pool. Pool did not have towels. Uncomfortable bedding.

This "airport" hotel advertises a free airport shuttle. When I booked on Expedia I requested an 11 pm shuttle. My flight arrived at 10:50 pm, so I called for a shuttle. I was told there is no shuttle after 10 pm. There was no mention of this on the website, nor did I receive an email noting my request for an 11 pm shuttle could not be met. The taxi fare for the 2 mile ride was $30. The front desk receptionist told me this was no longer an "airport" hotel and that since Covid there is no longer a shuttle past 10,but they have not updated the website and other customers have complained. A terrible way to start a stay.

Right after I checked in the property lost power! This prevented me from accessing the rear entrance close to my parked car. Thus I had to carry my luggage all the way to the front of the building! Then I had to walk up 2 flights of stairs in the dark, & down a dark hallway to my dark room! Thank God for street lights outside. I couldn't charge my phone or take a shower!

Stayed at the hotel 3/22/2024-3/24/2024. All was good until an ice storm came in on the 23rd -24th. We returned to the hotel that evening to find that the hotel was completely out of service. I understand we do not have control over mother nature however this particular hotel di not have a generator or one that did not work. Hotel was black, elevators were down and at first we were told our room keys would not work , however they did sometime later on that evening. We were exhausted and needed to go to bed. We had to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to room 406. Needles to say we did not sleep well that evening. The morning of our departure (the 24th) we still did not have power and showering was out of the question because the water was freezing. From what I had heard that evening other hotels were up and running. I'm assuming they had an installed generator.

They checked someone in directly above us at midnight. The person(s) were very noisy until 3am which is when we got up to catch our early morning flight. There were plenty of empty rooms. The staff needs to be aware of occupied rooms when placing late arriving customers!!
