Everything was great about this property! The hosts could not have been friendlier. We loved the extra touches provided with KU stickers, can koosies etc. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and we loved that k-cups and coffee creamer were provided. Perfect place for KU drop off!

We wanted a place close to campus that had room to assemble some dorm items the night before move in. Less than 2 minutes from the dorm and couldn’t be a nicer place! Loads of room and very comfortable! Definitely would come back!

Moms Weekend

Myself and a friend were in town for Moms weekend at KU. Easy, private access to the owners finished basement which was very clean, spacious, and welcoming! Bed was comfy and I thoroughly enjoyed the KU gifts and snacks!

Magical weekend.

I could not have found a better place to stay! First off the place is so cool. Two living rooms one with a really comfy pit couch to just melt in. The other with high end black leather couches and chairs. All kinds of games, putting, foosball, ping pong, and tons of KU memorabilia. The beds were so comfortable. My son and I came for the KU basketball game and it was only a short walk to campus / Allen Fieldhouse. My son can't wait to go back and made me promise him we would stay at the same place. Wayne and Katie our hosts couldn't have been more kind or caring. I cannot recommend this place enough! Really special place to stay. With the exception of the Oread Hotel which is way over priced and nowhere as nice there isn't a closer place to stay to campus and much closer to Allen. I agree with my son we will never stay anywhere else! I say to everyone stay here just not when we want to lol. THE BEST!

We stayed at this property for family weekend for our son’s fraternity. We have a family of 5 with kids aged 11-20. The property (which is the basement of a lovely home) comfortably accommodated our family.

Great location near KU

We came in for our son’s final home baseball weekend at Hoglund and this was the perfect location. The space was very clean, spacious, and had a well supplied kitchen. Beds were comfortable and living area was great. The outdoor space was wonderful as well. It was perfect for our needs. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful Mom’s weekend in Lawrence! The Simien’s are very gracious hosts and the property is very comfortable and clean. It is a perfect location, so close to campus. We hope to return next year!

I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Fast communication, well-stocked kitchen, tons of space (much bigger than the pics make it seem), plenty to do, etc. Best VRBO we've ever stayed in. All my kids, ages 6-16, had a great time. Very clean, safe, and we hope to stay there again when we are in Lawrence!

Convenient and affordable rental

We needead a place for 5 dads to stay during Dad's weekend at our daughter's sorority. We needed a place where we could all hang out at points thoughout the weekemd, and this place was acoomating. It has a bunk room that sleeps 4, so not ideal with four 50+ year old dudes who snore! But, it worked, and the accommodations themselves were awesome. Updated interior, foosball and ping pong, and big TV/ sitting area that worked great for us all. You are in a basement but it has a private emtrance. The consensus from all was a thumbs up!

Wonderful Oasis Near Campus

This property is an amazing little wooded oasis that is nearly adjacent to the KU campus. The space is more than ample, really well-equipped, and comfortable. It is attached to the owners' house, but we seldom heard noise (and hope that we didn't bother the owners, likewise!) Wayne and Katie are amazing hosts, and helped make our visit to celebrate our daughter's birthday that much more memorable! We hope to stay again. : )

Rock Chalk location

This property is at an ideal spot if visiting campus. It is a short walk to the dorms, Allen Fieldhouse, and the Lied Center, and a short drive to downtown Lawrence. Would definitely stay again.
