“Gateway is an older Taj property that reeks of old world charm. The cottages and gardens are expertly laid out and the service is attentive. My room was well appointed but old. Overall an excellent option in the Coonoor area.”

“stay was very good, staff are very kind and helping, hotel has a restaurant which provides excellent food, breakfast is free. Tour operator is in the hotel provides taxis and we had very nice 2 days tour of Ooty ”
“Experience is, more or less satisfactory, except restaurant. Though breakfast was supposed to be served at 08.00 AM, always it was served after 08.30 causing extreme difficulty to board the 09.15 toy train and 09.15 bus to Kannur (Kerala).
Punctuality is VERY POOR.”
