“We came for a second visit as we wanted to stay in the house which we had booked. We were given an outside property. Perfectly clean etc. one of the other reasons for returning was how well treated we were by the host. Our breakfast was delightful and served by the host from our previous visit.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Maison au Fils Temp. A charming property a short drive away from Amiens. A perfect stop to explore the Somme area, ahead of our LeShuttle journey home to the UK. Sylvie and Nicolas were such kind and thoughtful hosts. We had a delicious 3 course dinner both nights at the property. Very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend a stay here.”

“Although the landlady did all what was possible, the description on Hotels.com of the accommodation offered was highly misleading. Firstly, it is not a hotel, so the reservations are not monitored, and thus our arrival at the doorstep of the house was completely unexpected. Despite the system accepting a booking online, you need to ring to check if anybody is home. There are simple rooms available in an annex building, which are basic (eg. no TV, or other comforts), it seemed suitable for summer……

“Basically a nice hotel but a few details need attention: spacious room but heating totally inadequate and had to borrow an additional heater from reception. Room was very cold when we checked in. Need to ditch the paper cups in bathroom and replace with proper glasses. Lack of furniture in room and clothes storage space very limited. Why no wardrobe? Service in restaurant for New Year's Eve dinner was ridiculously slow. Meal took 3 hours! There's no excuse for this, especially as it was a set……

“Endroit ideal pour etre au calme avec un parc tres bien entrrtenu mais malheureusement le temps tres frais nous a empêché de bien en profiter. Sinon super acceuil, très bonne cuisine avec une grande salle décorée avec gout. La literie était de très bonne qualité pour un bon sommeil. Un endroit que nous recommandons. Mr et Mme Scholler ”

“Great venue, though the main pictire is of the view not the hotel so a bit misleading. However hotel was great, restaurant was fantastic, good staff noce pool and gardens.”

The village itself is beautiful, and the peaceful surroundings made our visit extra special. The pool and spa area were a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing after exploring. We truly enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to returning!”
