"I stayed traveling back from the south of France on a mother-daughter trip because of its proximity to the Gare de Lyon train station. I was leary because one of the previous reviews said it had bedbugs and gave it a 2. We called before booking to see if this was true and the employee who said she had worked there for 2 years said no.not ever. We booked and when we checked in they could not have been friendlier and told us they use dogs to check for bedbugs and have not had the problem. The hotel and our room was modern and spotless as were the bar and restaurant. There is also an indoor rooftop bar with wonderful views. The only thing to be aware of is the room is small. But is so convenient to the train stations Gare de Lyon and Gare de Austerlitz where we were able to take a Direct 40 minute train ride to the Palace of Versailles. I felt compelled to defend this hotel against a bad review that wasn’t based on factual information because I depend on the reviews for all my travels."

"We stayed for 3 nights. The location is very convenient since is pretty close to the Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, train station and subway. There are nice cafes near the hotel which was very nice. "

"I was REALLY impressed with the rolm i got for the price. yhe bathtub was a 6 foot tub and everything looked new. even had a dishwasher in the suite. I did have a huge issue communicating with them to get picked up by the shuttle butit wasn't yheir fault, my phone could not call in Europe due to it being locked . i tried calling their number by wifi but it wouldnt work.airport SUCKS trting to find shuttle stop, so be forwarned. "

"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Dame des Arts! The room was very well appointed, comfortable and clean. The restaurant and their staff were phenomenal and went out of their way to accommodate us without reservations even though they were very busy. Can’t praise enough how wonderful everyone working there was. The rooftop bar was gorgeous, although the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy it like we would have liked to. Highly recommend staying there and can’t wait to come back! "
