「My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was absolutely the perfect place! The cabin was equipped with everything you could need and the views were breathtaking. The climb up and down to the river is very steep so you'd need to be able to handle that to access the river from the property. John was great and very helpful. Our dogs also had a great time swimming in the river. It was deep enough in spots for them to swim but shallow enough for us to sit in chairs and enjoy the water....

「It was nice. House was comfortable and clean. House not as private as we had thought. But neighbors were quiet. Wish there was a way to communicate rivers levels before booking. Wasn’t able to enjoy the partial riverfront property, and that was the point of the rental.」

「The house is your typical river or lake house. It works really well for a large group of people. The house could use some updates, and better lighting. But all in all it works. There are plenty of beds, and lots of space for people to do all different kinds of activities. The second fridge on the porch really helped with storing food and drinks for so many people. I loved the lights down by the river.」

「What a great place to stay. We needed a getaway from the city and this place was perfect. While the river is low directly behind the house, there is a wonderful swimming hole very close by. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. A new coffeepot that can be used with pods or with the carafe was great and very appreciated by our coffee drinking group. There is an amazingly well stocked grocery store not too far from the house.」

「The location along the river, far from the noise of town was wonderful! The dark skies perfect for star gazing! We spent so much time outside on the patio. Nathan the caretaker was very kind, friendly, and checked in on us briefly each day to be sure all was well. A terrific getaway!」
