Enjoy all central Florida has to offer, at this cozy waterfront cottage, on Haynes Creek, part of the Harris Chain. Fish from the dock, or bring your own watercraft, you have your own boat slip. Explore the area on our paddleboat, kayaks or paddle board. If its shopping and nightlife you enjoy we are close to Leesburg, Eustis, Mt. Dora, Tavares and the Villages. Or maybe you would enjoy watching wildlife and exploring one of the many parks or trails in the area. Central Florida has it all.

Beautiful lodging surrounded by pure Florida scenery. Very clean and welcoming. Set on the waterfront with full access to kayaks etc Great for Motorcycle enthusiasts and Nature lovers. Owner was very communicative and responded quickly to my questions. I plan on staying longer next time.

Not worth it

The property is rundown, the interior is full of dust and spiderwebs, and the stove is in very bad shape, not to mention that the propane tank was empty when I checked in. Those wall air conditioning units cannot keep up with Florida heat. The pictures in this ad are deceiving, and the amenities mentioned in the ad are far from the truth. The areas around the trailer are filthy, and the kayaks or the paddle boats are dirty and filled with water. The fire pit is used for debris disposal and the "lake" is so dirty that isn't even enjoyable to the eyes. During my entire stay, I wondered who wrote those wonderful reviews because none of them were true. Never again will I listen to other people's reviews.

Quick Trip to Mount Dora

Nice ammentities and seclusion. We were able to take a quick paddleboard trip around the surronding canals and lakes. We had a nice evening in Mount Dora which is only about 20 miles away.
